  1. Afl injury list says “hand” 2 weeks. I thought it was his shoulder. And his foot also is fragile. They might have to rebuild him.
  2. May was 2-3 weeks after round 2. He is now 3-4 weeks after round 6. So simple maths says his “groin” injury will likely have him out to Round 10. That’s 8 weeks out!!!!
  3. Target 48,666. Cursed!!
  4. Maxy is a legend. Huge man. Ripping bloke.
  5. Mid range is pick 9 or 10. Zak Jones is not worth that at all. Back to the mad scientist lab for Dr.D!
  6. Jordan Keras from Geelong VFL team is a ready to go midfielder. Not sure why he gets overlooked. Mature body and skilled by hand and foot.
  7. Agree with Rozee call, though we would have taken Bailey Smith
  8. Hello bottom of the ladder, my old friend. We seem to be always meeting up despite my optimism.
  9. I cut my knee. Thought I’d use a bandaid. Saw Dr Misson. Off work now for 6 weeks.
  10. Why put Frost in with Jones and Lewis? Bizarre. Roost it has “lost it”. Frost is 25. Frost has had some good games and just trying to control his timing to run with the footy when possible. Presents a big athletic key backman.
  11. On today’s form, Sparrow and Keilty could come in. Add Preuss back as well. Think Viney out injured, with Weideman and Hunt to be likely omissions.
  12. Zak Jones has aggression, skill and pace. Can play half back, mid or half forward. He is a very good player. Just needs to CONTROL his discipline.
  13. 2020. Jetta. May. Lever Salem. Frost. Hibberd *brodie Kemp (under 18s). Viney. Brayshaw Petracca. Weideman. Melksham Garlett. * O’Brien (Hawks) Fritsch Gawn. Harmes. Oliver Preuss. Hannan. *Z.Jones (swans) N.Jones emerg * Cutler (Lions) Vandenburg J.smith Sparrow anb to hawks for O’Brien jkh to Lions for Cutler mfc 2019 2nd round pick to swans for Zak Jones
  14. Lockhart should own the vacant small defender role given Jetta is out until round 13-14. He has shown his AFL standard. He played there at Casey last year and shutdown a lot of small forwards. Has class and pace and knows how to tackle. Probably gets puopolo this week.
  15. Lockhart. Tmcd. Hore Salem. Frost. Hibberd Brayshaw. Maynard. Stretch Petracca. TSmith. Melksham. Garlett. Preuss. Fritsch. Gawn Harmes Oliver Jones Sparrow Lewis Hunt emerg Jordon Chandler Keilty Bring in 3 hard nuts. ins. Preuss. Sparrow. Maynard outs Weideman. Anb. Viney (inj)
  16. 12. Stick up for your mates. If someone gets hit or harassed (aka Gawn) or takes a cheap shot (Martin on Hibberd), then you must take a stand. But remember, hit hard and fair.
  17. Cutler back in for Lions. Will monitor him closely. If we offered a 2-3 year deal, he and his manager would have to be tempted.
  18. Agree. Shocking handball. Maynard must now be given the chance.
  19. Yes Freo won’t talk for anything less
  20. Grab anyone with PACE SKILL AND A HEART draftees : Matthew Rowell, Hayden Young and Noah Anderson are my clear top 3. But I think as bad as it has started, we will finish above Kangas, Suns, Blues, Lions or Dogs. Likely 13th spot. Pick 6. Brodie Kemp, Caleb Serong or Dylan Williams are the young agile mids that have appealed for likely additions if we get a low pick around 5-7 range. Brodie Kemp will rise and rise given he is ready to go round 1 2020 type. For trade period, pace, skill and heart. 1. Ed Langdon (Freo) is most likely. MFC 2020 1st round for Langdon and Freo 2020 2nd Round. 2. Zak Jones and Swans 3rd pick 2020 for MFC 2nd round pick. 3. Tom Cutler from the Lions. Probably trade Jkh to Lions or perhaps Josh Wagner.
  21. What’s to come in ? Really? Only Preuss. We have 6-7 best 22 players out. We got rid of our depth. In: 1. Hard at it footy. Grit. Knockons. Shepherds. Smothers. 2. Gut running. No walking. INTENSITY TO GET TO EACH CONTEST 3. Kick to the hotspot about 15-20 out from goals. NOT TO THE FUC$)N POCKET 4. Discipline. No stupid high tackles. It’s the waist every time 5. Identify the other clubs strategy. Example: We let Houli have 25 kicks unmarked. He was their defensive rebounder. 6. “Connect forward of centre” a Goodwin-ism. BS really but it means kick to find a player 7. One up one down. Under 8s stuff. One up at the contests and the other crumbs. We are dumb 8. Break tackles. Get your arms free. Pendlebury is the master 9. Quick ball movement. We must play on. Slow and wide gets killed 10. Kicking for goal. Practice practice practice. We have been ok in 2019 even but it’s still CRITICAL AND 11. Stop overhandballing around in circles or useless handball to someone standing RIGHT NEXT TO YOU often meaning they get caught with the footy
  22. NO ONE STOOD UP TO DUSTIN MARTIN. If he did that cheap shot when I was playing even in the amateurs div 2, someone would have flattened him. Or at least wrestled. Soft Demons again.
  23. Agree. Billy will be a good player if given the chance. He has endurance and pace. Needs to always kick the footy and use quick ball movement.
  24. Petty. Jordan. Sparrow are the ones to watch. They should become good players. Chandler is a boy but cheeky smart fwd pocket. Unlikely to make it but fun to watch. Bedford is the wildcard. Could be the answer as the elusive magical forward pocket type I like his pace. Maynard should be given a go. I like him above ANB. We need to see if he’s up to the AFL tempo. If not, then he must be delisted Spargo should be traded. He has nothing special. At 173 cms, he needs much more pace and strength over the footy.
  25. - Signs we are moving forward - we battled it out for 3 quarters - got beaten forward of centre - cannot connect with handball or foot - scoring will come in time - re established contest and defence - cannot bring it to ground or mark inside 50
