  1. X umpires are killing us x Harmes is [censored] x fumbles fumbles and fumbles x Trac is looking tired Clarry is a champion
  2. Played a good game v Dees. Lynch is a smart footballer who set up a few crows goals. His fitness and durability must be the question mark.
  3. Huge focus. Goalkicking is the area of the game that has actually gone backwards (imo) despite all the specialist coaches, professional full time footballers and biomedical advancements. Fritsch showed last week how dangerous we can be. Dees seemingly have higher inside 50s than our opposition but much lower conversion of goals/inside50s (stats gurus may be able to prove this right or wrong) Dees must nail the shots from 25-35 metres out in front. MUST.
  4. I think we should forget trade targets for 5 weeks. Let’s ride this group all the way to glory. We have the playing group to get it done.
  5. It’s truly exciting. Tonight is like a final. It’s the battle for the minor premiership. We’ve never had this chance in my lifetime.
  6. Believe. Four wins away. It could be us. Why not us? Let’s get it done Demons.
  7. One week suspension. Tom Morris is a fickfm tool
  8. Hibberd was ok. But agree needs to stand up more in the contest.
  9. Jacko had another good game today v Crows. His last quarter ruck work , second efforts and clearances were a sign of the future. Huge talent. Dees must work to keep him happy. He can take the game apart once his footy brain matures. only worry is that Eagles will eventually come with a big contract and big $$s to get back home.
  10. Sparrow is strong in the contest and his handballs and kicking is strong. Just needs to fix up his skill by foot and some decisions. Was tracking ok and then got 4-5 weeks as sub with no matches at Casey. Has taken time to readjust. Sparrow or Jordon probably make way for Viney next week.
  11. 6 Fritsch 5 Petracca 4 Langdon 3 Lever 2 Jackson 1 Gawn Apologies. Salem Spargo Rivers Oliver Petty
  12. Viney back next week (Sparrow out) May back next week (Smith out) Tom McDonald back next week (for ?!!??!!??) Hunt missing for next 3-4 weeks. Doubtful to play again this year.
  13. Brayshaw Pickett Sparrow May not be in next week ?!?!?!
  14. Mids??? Small crumbing forwards?? Crows on top in 3rd quarter
  15. Sorry. Having seen more of Florent, I’d up the offer to 5 year contract. Unfortunately he’s contracted through to end 2022. Florent has the pace and excellent skills needed into our midfield. Predominantly an outside runner who kicks the footy mostly and has high efficiency rate. At 23, his best footy is still ahead of him.
  16. Maynard would be a great get. Not sure the Pies would accept a 2nd round pick for him. It probably depends on whether the Weid stays. If Weid says he’s moving on, we have more trade weight. Pies could be tempted if we offered Weid and a future 2nd round pick.
  17. I’m not sure this round actually goes ahead with current covid numbers in Melbourne. It could be that the ladder sits as is for finals. It was always a ridiculous concept during a covid pandemic to have a competition across 3 states. Gillbilly Mclachlan has done most things right but this VFL 3 state concept with 22 teams was destined to be a failure. So the premier pathway to AFL footy and AFL listed players development has most likely 9,10,11 game season.
  18. Hawkins deserves to get a week. It’s clearly dangerous. Though Dangerfield and Selwood don’t get suspended for this head high bumps so it’s a lottery at the CHRISTIAN COMEDY MRP !!?!?
  19. Hope Smith is cheap. Frequently injured and just showed enough of AFL standard on inconsistent basis. I think Turner with a pre season could be a better backup behind Lever imo. I’d almost had Smith on the “likely to be delisted” or on for a 4th round trade to Kangas.
  20. Agree. V Dees and V Bombers, Bont was caught and never got penalized. Today the umps were fair and the Dogs couldn’t shake the Hawks. If Dogs get umps favouritism they are hard to beat. Otherwise very beatable!!!
  21. Commentators get a hard woody over the Bont. But Dogs have frozen in the last 2 weeks and the Bont isn’t Superman after all!!! Western floggers didn’t get the Umps armchair ride this week !!! Hawks missing about 6 of their top 10 players. Like the Bombers, Hawks have a good group of youngsters to start to climb backup the ladder.
  22. Hunt is a loss. His pace will be sorely missed. We lack pace across the outside.
  23. Given the Rowell-Anderson bromance, hard to see him leaving. But agree he’d be very handy in red and blue. Looks like to complete package as a midfielder and at times seems dejected by the Suns lack of consistency.
