  1. Agree. fantastic first half but poor last 5 minutes 38 points up then 3 misses !!!
  2. One hour. It’s time to get excited.
  3. Norf are not even getting scraps. Definitely undesirable club at this time.
  4. We are all in together #GiveEmHell
  5. Anxious. Nervous. Yes that’s all of us countdown 4 hours to go
  6. Goalkicking Goalkicking Goalkicking. We dominated the Lions. Should have been 7 goals up at half time. Must take our chances this week and 🤞 in the GF. YES I’M ANXIOUS ABOUT TONIGHT. 50 years of waiting does that to a man.
  7. Smiths chips. Plain. The big party size pack. The salt brings on the thirst. Then the supply of amber refreshments dulls the nerves. QED.
  8. Hibberd in for Smith. Less height and less pace but his experience will be important. Does he play on Cameron? Um. I preferred Smith or Hunt.
  9. First game. Dees v Tigers. 1974. I don’t remember much to be honest as a 5 year old but my late father said that was my first game. Worst game. Dees v Lions 1979. 190 point defeat. Sat through the whole game at Waverley. Loss v Hawks in 1988 GF Avery close second place. Best game. Wow. So many. Probably 2000 preliminary final v Kangas. Huge crowd. I was very confident. Kangas were a tough and mature team but we smashed them. MCG was on fire as Farmer kicked 8 goals. If you want to know how good he was, check out his highlights reel in that game. Crowd was going nuts.
  10. It’s a shame as Cerra is exactly the type of player that makes our midfield superior above other clubs. Unlikely to be at the Dees as we have no currency. It would take a sacrifice to great to bear.
  11. 1. Fair go from umps 2. Kick straight. if 1 and 2, then we will win. if either are horrible, then it starts to be a worry !!!
  12. All we can hope for is to be given a fair go v the cats
  13. Lever and May have brought tremendous value both on and off the field. I thought we might have paid overs for Lever in the trade but he is repaying us big time this year and hopefully beyond as well.
  14. Agree my friend. I am already getting tense and nervous. My stomach churns. And it’s 3 days before the preliminary final, let alone the Grand Final. This is our year. I have to believe it. The opportunity is there for us. For so long we have watched other sides enjoy the glory and their supporters mock us. (How many premierships have you won in colour!!). We have the team. We are as good if not better than anyone else. We can win it. We have to win it.
  15. Just read James Cousins delisted by the Hawks. I thought he was a very good midfielder for the Hawks against us in the “drawn” game. In the absence of some of the Hawks better mids, Cousins competed strongly in the centre and had outside run. I thought he certainly looked AFL quality. One to watch over the summer pre season as I think he might get a spot at another club most likely.
  16. Definitely a father-son pick for the Dees. Late draft pick likely. Taj’s teammates Corey Warner (probably draft 30-35) and Finn Gorringe (probably draft range 50-55) also looked possible draftees from the recent SA - WA underage. Warner hunted the footy and looked very capable as inside-out mid. Mop of blonde hair made him standout in the contest. Gorringe is the composed half back-back pocket with courage and skills. Small defender.
  17. Definitely a true leader. Has matured into an excellent player plus an excellent teammate and leader. Love his drive and he is obviously enjoying his footy at the Demons. Maybe one or two other success starved Suns players may decide to follow Steven to the red and blue.
  18. Preliminary finals. Dees v Cats &umps Power v Dogs&umps
  19. Umps crucifying the game. 19-28. Dogs got favoured to win the game.
  20. Dogs. Cats. Masters of the THROW
  21. Two wins. Two weeks.
  22. Who hates Geelong? We do. And so does every other club.
