GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Q1. Nth bringing pressure and effort. Dees not quite on point. Fritsch tackle was great stuff. Evens in clearances. Dees goalkicking is not quite as sharp as it needs to be.

Petracca’s goalkicking
He’s a gun. An elite player. One of the Dees greats. He kicked the most sensational goal in the ‘21 Grand Final. But … he sometimes gets the yips and misses the easy ones. I recall he recently said he was working on it but as yet, not quite finding the solutions.

TEAMS: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Missing Salem, Viney & Harmes from best 22. Melksham, Dunstan & Jordon as depth. Though Jordon had shown he is more than capable and having another good year.

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
Agree JVR is very strong 1-1 for a young kid but also has second efforts so I suppose he’s like Weitering. But as a forward, he’s very good because he’s very smart and presents well. The other week, he held off his defender and protected to drop zone before diving forward to take a chest mark and goaled. Showed very good footy awareness. Could play Key back or key forward imv.

GAMEDAY: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
We’ve already got Werridee selling his house !! No need to do anything crazy !!
-
CHANGES: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
Yes assume Bedford is next in line if Harmes is out. Bedford shouldn’t be medi sub for a while. I think it was about 5-6 weeks of medi sub within a run!!!

Welcome to Demonland: Jacob Van Rooyen
That’s the plan.

Chandler Tackle
Agree. One bloke had intent to hit a player in the head with his full body. The other was an accidental tackle that was at full pace. Chandler - 1 week. Ryan - 2 or 3 weeks is fairer outcome imv.

POSTGAME: Rd 09 vs West Coast
We are the undefeated reigning premiers. Anyone. Anywhere. Bring it on. also got Kangas. Pies twice. Power. & Crows in Adelaide.

2022 Free Kick Differential
Agree. It was a joke. Sums up this stupid “stand” rule.
-
CHANGES: Rd 10 vs North Melbourne
If Harmes out… Bailey Laurie to debut. If Chandler suspended… Melksham as medi sub.

My 3 word player analysis v WCE
Chandler - unduly rough play. Probably gets a fine but depends on Foley. Assume he’ll miss with concussion next week. Chandler was unlucky but had to try to turn Foley not jump and ride him into the ground with both arms pinned

GAMEDAY: Rd 09 vs West Coast
Agree they have been one of those arrogant clubs and supporters who really destroyed us on occasions. Plenty of arrogant Eagles fans to now put back in their place. Let’s start with today. Go Dees

CASEY: Rd 08 vs North Melbourne
JVR very impressive. Good mark and his 2nd efforts were very good. His contest and tackle to get the holding the ball in the 3rd quarter showed his potential. Sometimes it’s how you play without the ball that shows your ability. I think he will be managed at Casey this year but is definitely ready to step up if we need him. Woey jnr also showed his run and composure with the footy. Bailey Laurie is a small forward (creative half forward) in my view and today showed his ability. A goal from 55 and another smart snap showed his love for a goal. Probably shapes as a backup to Spargo at this stage. But he again is another player who could step up to AFL level if required.
