Demons 2022 membership pack arrived on Friday. Kids excited for another year.

Eden Zanker is a star. Fantastic in round 1. Watch out AFLW.

5 Zanker 4 Birch 3 Hore 2 Hanks 1 L. Pearce Daisy gets honourable mention. She missed an easy goal in the 3rd but otherwise was smart and clean with the footy. Classy to watch.

Yes big wraps on the squad for 2022. Let’s hopefully get the premiership cup for Daisy. She’s an absolute legend of AFLW and the sport. So talented. Brave. Inspirational. Tayla Harris of course will be a big plus for the team. Karen Paxman is a definite A grade star. Also keen to see Libby Birch now as our number 1 defender. She is a great athlete and improved so much in the past two seasons. Eden Zanker is another to watch out for. She was really shining before the ‘21 season ended.

Really excited to see what Tayla can do in 2022. She is an amazingly strong and determined young lady.

Sorry yes I actually meant Ellison rather than Goonan. Ellison looked very handy in some games and had a day out when he kicked 6 as a midsized forward v Werribee. Then the shutdown happened. Be good to see what he can do with hopefully a full season ahead. Still time ahead as he’s only 20.

That Best 22 looks Premiership quality 🏆❤️💙 Casey depth squad is a good balance between depth and development. Guys like Hunt, Tomlinson, Dunstan, Weideman, Jordon and Melksham will be putting their best case to get in the team. That drives the best in all. I would also expect Laurie to get a debut in 2022 if he stays healthy. Very smart skilled youngster.

Jed Hagan looked good in the WA team as an under ager player. And he’s from East Freo … the Dees new feeder club. 😆😆. He is potentially one to watch out for in 2022.

Prediction: next year will be “unpredictable”. Like in 2020 and 2021. Disruption, change and unpredictability. Perhaps the one true call out is Clayton Oliver for the Brownlow in 2022. He’s one of our very best ever to wear the red and blue. A champion no doubt. Bailey Laurie to debut Luke Dunstan to get at least one best on ground & 3 Brownlow votes Ben Brown to kick more than 50 goals

That’s really disappointing He was a quality young player. Showed good form in the limited Casey games in 2021. Was hoping to see him in a full year. Very evasive type, nice skills and good goalkicker. Probably thought he wasn’t guaranteed any game time at Casey.
