Yes this was an obvious move to sign them for one more year. Give them more of a go. I think Mcvee and Smith may struggle but I think AMW could look get a game next year under Choco’s development. We are definitely still a huge chance at the premiership but must realize 1-,Opposition teams are playing us differently. they avoid stop start down the line footy to Gawn, Lever, May They look to deliver quick ball movement, daring footy, switching play, don’t go down the line, keep the ball low and targeted going into the forward line. 2. MFC tighten up when challenged. in the first half of matches, Dees have been winning and running with our own breathtaking ball movement to score easily (qtr 1 v pies) but definitely revert to very predictable defensive ball movement in the second half of games (v Swans, v Dogs v Pies) kicking down the line, high balls into our F50 etc we beat ourselves at our own game !!! .
