  1. Footy Show voted as Oliver, Petracca and Gawn. I agree Max was not at his best, but he had some influence when it counted. Gawn kicked a goal to maintain our lead and was dangerous down forward. His tap down ruckwork to Trac who then punted it to Fritsch for the last goal was beautiful footy. I think Xerri in particular was trying to rough up Gawn and he pushed and pulled and knocked Gawn when he could, sometimes fairly, sometimes not.
  2. Sorry had to reply. Robbie was just an amazing player. His courage, his skill, his pace, his marking, his goalkicking, his weaving. All were elite. Clarry is a legend. A bull. Wins more contested footy than anyone I can think of. He accumulates. He wills himself to each contest. But his skills and goalkicking is not elite. In my view Clarry is and will be one of our greatest BUT he doesn’t pass Robbie for pure footy and an all around elite game.
  3. It’s now 9.17 and 6 OOBs for the year. Hopefully he can work it out. It will be vital come September.
  4. 1/ Out. Dunstan In. Viney 2/ ?? Langdon. We need more run. Consider Baker to bring in 3/ ?? Melksham?? Probably stays in to get 200 as Harmes unlikely to be fit and available And … Salem hopefully back soon - probably for Swans game
  5. 6- Oliver daylight 5 - Lever 4- Trac daylight 3- Gawn 2- Fritsch 1- Sparrow apologies. Rivers and Spargo
  6. SOFT SOFT SOFT hit the Dees physically on guess what …
  7. Yes Swans and Dockers thinking. Hmmm. Apply pressure. Play quick. Hmmm. Dees struggle
  8. 🤮Melksham Petty Dunstan 😵‍💫Brayshaw Bowey 🚑Ed Ummm ok. Tmcd Brown Just On par Spargo. Trac. Max. Hunt Riv LJ May Lever Kozzy Anb Jordon Sparrow ⭐️Fritsch ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👏 Clarry Bedford - it’s your chance !!
  9. 1st half Petty 🤢 Melksham 🤮 Dunstan 🤮🤮
  10. Dunstan definitely having a stinker. Needs not to think. Play the percentages.
  11. Q2. Fumbles Brayshaw. Heavy knock ? Bowey ummm rattled. Love ya Kosssy Dees poor decisions going inside 50. Poor goalkicking again. Brown. ANB. Melksham. Trac 38 to 19 inside 50s … dominant but poor converting so 8.9 to 6.1 Umps favouring Dees 16-10 frees Clarry is a star
  12. Q1. Nth bringing pressure and effort. Dees not quite on point. Fritsch tackle was great stuff. Evens in clearances. Dees goalkicking is not quite as sharp as it needs to be.
  13. He’s a gun. An elite player. One of the Dees greats. He kicked the most sensational goal in the ‘21 Grand Final. But … he sometimes gets the yips and misses the easy ones. I recall he recently said he was working on it but as yet, not quite finding the solutions.
  14. Missing Salem, Viney & Harmes from best 22. Melksham, Dunstan & Jordon as depth. Though Jordon had shown he is more than capable and having another good year.
  15. Agree JVR is very strong 1-1 for a young kid but also has second efforts so I suppose he’s like Weitering. But as a forward, he’s very good because he’s very smart and presents well. The other week, he held off his defender and protected to drop zone before diving forward to take a chest mark and goaled. Showed very good footy awareness. Could play Key back or key forward imv.
  16. We’ve already got Werridee selling his house !! No need to do anything crazy !!
  17. Yes assume Bedford is next in line if Harmes is out. Bedford shouldn’t be medi sub for a while. I think it was about 5-6 weeks of medi sub within a run!!!
  18. Agree. One bloke had intent to hit a player in the head with his full body. The other was an accidental tackle that was at full pace. Chandler - 1 week. Ryan - 2 or 3 weeks is fairer outcome imv.
  19. We are the undefeated reigning premiers. Anyone. Anywhere. Bring it on. also got Kangas. Pies twice. Power. & Crows in Adelaide.
  20. Agree. It was a joke. Sums up this stupid “stand” rule.
  21. If Harmes out… Bailey Laurie to debut. If Chandler suspended… Melksham as medi sub.
  22. Chandler - unduly rough play. Probably gets a fine but depends on Foley. Assume he’ll miss with concussion next week. Chandler was unlucky but had to try to turn Foley not jump and ride him into the ground with both arms pinned
  23. 6. Jack Viney 5. Kysaiah Kropinyeri-Pickett 4. Angus Brayshaw 3. Christian Petracca 2. Tom McDonald 1. Steven May
  24. Jordan Lewis says it best … “They did what they needed to do”.
