Pickett could have escaped with even a fine in the scenario the impact was judged to be low, and typically cases where a bump does not cause injury are graded no worse than medium impact. but it wasn’t high contact as Smith was hit in the upper torso. Watched this over and over and over. Kozzzy leaves his feet to bump. Not great. Impact yes. But … IT WASN’T A HIGH HIT TO THE HEAD watch the frame by frame and it’s a shoulder to upper torso hit Smith played on. No Concussion. Amazed that some are trying to put Kozzzys on the frypan for this. In my view, it’s a rough conduct. Low impact as Smith plays on. Two weeks and one week as a guilty plea. If it was Cripps, Hawkins, Selwood, Dangerfield. Not guilty. Move on. But Kozzzy is one of the regular blokes so he cops it.

Dees need to give Kade his big chance this year. Love his pace and tackling but importantly his ability to kick 40+ for goal. His goal sense will be a big plus if he gets the chance. Hopefully they don’t change his attitude to handball rather than take the chance to kick the goal.
