  1. Ummm. Jackson is a unicorn. There’s no other really exciting young ruckmen coming through. He can ruck, play ruck rover and go forward. But he’s still developing. He’s raw. He showed last night that he sometimes has no awareness. Run down. Handballs to other players in worse positions. Falls over. Gets outbodied. But the sky is the limit and his contract value will be based on a high degree of “potential”. If he goes, it’s likely Freo will look at offering a 1st rounder 2022 and a 1st rounder 2023. Let’s ponder if that’s enough.
  2. Last qtr bury them ffs ruthless ?? ffs ruthless !!!!!
  3. 🤮🤮Neale bullen
  4. 1st half. ✅ 7 tackles in fwd 50. ✅ contested footy 🤮🤮clearances 🤮umps and the crowd ⭐️⭐️Viney ⭐️Langdon 👍🏻Hibberd Spargo Hunt Melksham Fritsch Brayshaw May Trac 🤮Aish beating Clarry in the contest and spread. Clarry must do better defensively (1 tackle) 🥔Weid. Zero possessions. At least some contests. ??? BT claiming Jackson is gone … then saying he’s not sure !!! Tool
  5. Viney is a ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍🏻
  6. Trac 15-26. 9 out of bounds. From 50. All a lack of confidence!!!!
  7. 🤮umps ⭐️Fritsch Spargo Kozzzzy goals
  8. That’ll help our goalkicking !!!!!!
  9. Yes Gus either on the wing or include in the midfield/Centre rotations
  10. Yes. A two-year deal is fair. He’s showing signs this year of being definitely a chance to partner with Kozzzzy as dangerous small forwards. He’s just got to “ Do … rather than think” more often
  11. Luke - it’s up to you …
  12. Fantastic news. We love Gus. Bloody champion footballer. Bloody champion bloke. It’s time for …
  13. JVR could be one of the “flying” emergencies this week (??)
  14. Screwed again. Dees - have to do interstate travel after a 6 day break Lions - at home. 7 day break. it should have been a Saturday night blockbuster
  15. I think the Jack Watts thread got to 784 pages 🤣🤣🤣🤣
  16. I agree DJ. It’s two 1st rounders. Ideally they’d around a pick 5 and 15 at worst. Jackson’s best is still ahead and he’s already shown how he can win a GF. That’s worth demanding a high price !!!
  17. I’m looking at the Casey team and it shows we probably need to identify a young ruck, key forward and another quality mid/onballer in the draft period. Depending on the Jackson situation, if he goes then we’d need to grab a mature bodied ruck/key forward.
  18. Yes strong team. Unavailable: Daw retired. Injured- Tmcd Dsmith Rosman BBB I think Hunt will be sub this week. Bedford needs the run to find some form again.
  19. I reckon the Hawks would have to be looking at Cadman for sure. They can have Cadman and Mitch Lewis as future tall forwards. They got Ward and Macdonald last year and their defence is ok. We’d need to get maybe pick 5 imv to get Cadman.
  20. Can we get Birds of Tokyo to play “lanterns” at half time to bring back the GF feeling and create the Demon renaissance 🤣
  21. Same position as 2021,but totally different last ; rounds run home 2021 - last 4 rounds. Suns 15th (home -“kinda”. Eagles 10th (a) Crows 16th (h) Cats 2nd (a) 2022 - last 4 rounds. Freo 5th (a) Carl 7th Coll 4th Bris 3rd -(a) it’s 🤞🤞🤞🤞from here
  22. Love it. Agreed.
  23. Not sure Bowey is the answer. Looked decidedly (uncharacteristically) uncertain with the footy in the last few rounds. Was physically pushed aside too easily. Still only 19yo. Salem has to be the quarterback and actually hit targets , not bombs !!!
  24. Actually. In. Lever. Chandler outs. Tomlinson (very very unlucky) Spargo/Melksham
  25. Apologies DD36. I’m getting frustrated by the Jackson non signing. Becoming more likely he’s going home. As some know, I was very keen on Hayden Young as a highly skilled quarterback type player. And local. Jackson was a project and from WA, with go home factor always in the back of mind. But I saw the highlights and potential. Love JT for his bold vision and courage in picking Jackson. It proved a masterstroke and GF glory. Really hope the kid sees his future at the Dees.
