Harry DeMattia
We can grab Harry in 2030 when Clarry moves to the forward pocket. Similar type. Inside mid. Contested footy. Burst from the pack. Quick handball. Disposal needs improvement!!!

Best 44
Still unclear how BBB is going to get on the park for 12+ games in 2024. He was the forgotten man in 2023 with his marking, leading and accuracy. Media ignored the fact that he was out and it reduced our forward line potency. His knee injury has been long term issue and we hope we can continue. If not, list spots are too precious.

Farewell Kye Turner
Yes surprised but not surprising. Had interrupted year with injury. Looked okay but I think he would need a preseason to really show his capabilities. Tough world of AFL for lots of young blokes at this time of year.

Nate Caddy

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Yes this is a really well thought out walk through. Can’t argue with many inside the top 15. If we got Sanders and Windsor, imv it would be a big win for the Dees.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Caddy has the x-factor but seems to go missing through the matches. Not sure he’s a fit for us given we have medium tall forwards already. But I’ll say, when he’s good though, he’s very good.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
@adonski”Sanders looks like he'll be a good player but doesn't provide any real point of difference, doesn't look like he can play anywhere else other than midfield either”. That’s because he’s a midfielder. Class. Smart. Skilled. We don’t want him anywhere else. We have plenty of hybrid small half forwards or small half backs. We need a potential A grader young midfielder coming through. Everybody knows I am picking Sanders at 6 if available (or Curtin) and either OSullivan or Wilson at 11 if available.

Crows fan site getting excited that Sanders will fall to them. ‘Tell em they’re dreamin’ 🤣🤣🤣

I’d be totally amazed if we passed on Sanders if he was available. He’s exactly what we need. Skilled smart pacy mid.

2023 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
@Lord Travis ditto from me - add two of the classiest running midfielders in the draft with good pace and skill (Sanders and Wilson 👏👏)

2024 Free Agents
Target is definitely Ollie Florent. Runs strongly and skill is above average. Throw a minimum 4-5 year contract and see if there’s a bite.

2024 Jumper Numbers
I made the number 24 famous at the combine Tooronga Malvern. Perhaps the worst player to wear it !!!
-
Can we still use pick 42?
Yes probably see Kye Turner delisted. Can’t see him staying on given we would want to add 6,11 and Kynan Brown (use pick 42 to match if required) and a rookie. Hopefully Billy Wilson as a rookie if he’s available.

The 2023 Draft and Trade Targets Thread
Port , Swans, Bombers, Blues and Pies are the winners. They have added players that will definitely fit into their best 22 for round 1.

Three punts on fringe types who could be valuable or could be wasted additions. Time will tell. Let’s hope for the best.

Harrison Petty
Yes all the Adelaide news and media were in a frenzy. Petty playing golf with Hinge and his good mate Darcy Fogarty. Harry. Not good timing !!! Comments indicated low chance this year, likely chance next year and probably at end of 2025. Dees have been patient and built him through his early career. We couldn’t afford to have May and Petty go which is a possibility at end of 2025. Dees fans are always nervous with interstate young stars. Scott Thompson. Jeff Farmer. Jesse Hogan. Luke Jackson. Lots of go home issues with Dees players previously. In fact our games record holders are predominantly Victorians by a mile with a few Tasmanians added. Todd Viney at 233 games is the standout for his long service and ignoring the go home factor.
