Tim Lamb. Time to stand up. Crows want Petracca …
-
Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Crows say : We don't want to give you any senior players, but we want Petracca. Dees: Petrecca has 4 more years under contract. Petracca was second in the 2025 best and fairest, polled 16 votes in this years Brownlow, he’s a four-time All-Australian, twice MFC best and fairest, and a Norm Smith Medal winner. Yes he is a premiership player. Crows : You can have Pedlar, who doesn't play, and pick 14 - that's fair. Dees: that’s a joke … you’re joking right!!!

2026 FREE AGENTS
- The List Manager Tim Lamb
@tim lamb. Ok well spoken. Agree disappointing to have McVee bail out. Seems like to most likely deals are Mihocek from the Pies as a free agent Heath from the Saints for say a 3rd round pick (might depend on whether Marshall leaves the Saints) 24, 53, 59 Likely Freo 29 to Dees for McVee Likely Dees trade 29 to Saints for Heath & 43 Dees take 24 (32) & 43 (57) to the draft- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Paul Guerra MELBOURNE CEO Paul Guerra says the club was "surprised" when star Christian Petracca officially informed them of his desire to play elsewhere in 2026. Guerra said the Demons would hold Petracca to his monster contract if they weren't offered a deal good enough to 'turn their head'. "We were surprised to say the least, but it is what it is," Guerra said. In an ideal world Christian stays with us, but ultimately it's his call to explore other options. He believes he needs a fresh start so our view is let's see what comes back from that. "He has a four-year contract with the football club so if we don't get a deal that satisfies us, Christian will be playing as a Melbourne footballer next year Ultimately, it's up to Christian and his team now to come forward with a deal that will satisfy us. "We know what we've got and that's a quality footballer that has a four-year contract. For Christian to leave the football club, it has to be a deal that turns our head. "He's a generational player for our club, premiership player, Norm Smith Medallist, second in our best and fairest this year, so it's going to have to be something pretty good. "We'll do the right thing by the football club and if Christian comes back next year, great. If we've got a suitable trade that we've done, that's also great."- Trade Targets
Billings or Freijah is the question. We went with a player who couldn’t get a game in a lowly club and didn’t give ourselves the chance for a pick 45 gold !!- 2025 Player Reviews: #12 Koltyn Tholstrup
Really worried about the Kolt. Will he become the Cam Rayner type player with aggression, goalkicking, forward pressure and skill to have the impact as a medium forward and a rotating mid … Or Will he seek a trade home to WA and again leave the Dees faithful gasping at our frustration with holding onto interstate recruits Or Both !!!- Trade Targets
Melbourne wins a flag and proceeds to lose one required player after another. Brisbane wins back to back flags and then tops up with ready to play recruits.- "I hope this doesn't sound like sour grapes" - Chris Scott
Chris Scott. Sore loser. Sour grapes. He’s an arrogant piece of 💩💩💩. Let’s himself down with his sheer hubris. Good coach … yes. Sore loser … yes indeed !!!- The List Manager Tim Lamb

The trade period and the drafting period is again a crucial time !! Lots to play out. We have climbed the mountain in 2021, and now seen it disintegrate in a matter of 4 years. It’s not too late unless we get our pants pulled down again.- AFL Trade Radio 2025
@manny100 too late now … the sins of the past 4 years !! The Silence of the “Lambs”.- The List Manager Tim Lamb
DELISTINGS Billings ❌ Fullerton ❌ Sestan ❌ (R) Verrall ❌ (R) Hore❌(R) KBrown💔❌(R) Spargo⭕️UFA to North Melbourne 7 off the list - Spargo, KBrown, Fullerton, Hore, Verrall, Billings, Sestan 2 on the list - SSP top ups Henderson and Culley have earned one year deals so get added ❓❓Taj Woewodin/ Woey junior - does he seek to get traded to either Freo or Eagles ❓❓Steven May - He didn’t have a great year but when fit, he was still a mountain in defence Contracted 2026 McAdam⭕️sure he has mercurial talent but can’t believe he was 29 yo and injury prone and he got 3 years (Tim Lamb: was there a trigger clause even thought about? ) Maybe he gets to see out his final year. Have to somehow hope 🤞he can stay on the park or I think he’ll have to retire early. Laurie⭕️ elite at VFL Level. Just wish he’d got more chances at AFL game and shown something. He has been on our list 5 years now. Might just seek opportunity elsewhere. Contracted. The “1-year club” The Veterans. (5) Melksham Tmcd May McAdam Campbell On the edge. (10) Laurie Woey jnr Jeffo Adams Johnson rookies: Kentfield Culley AMW Mentha Henderson That’s a lot of unproven players and the veterans in their twilight. One bright crows butterball says : Crows Pick 14 & pick 41 to North Melbourne for pick 20 and 21. Crows Pick 21 to Brisbane for Calum Ah Chee Crows Jordan Butts and Pick 20 to the Western Bulldogs for pick 10 Dogs Pick 10 to the Dees for Petracca Farrrrrk off … one single pick … pick “16” after compo and academy /father son picks. Is that a joke ?!?! 🤮🤮- AFL Trade Radio 2025
Do they even know who Petracca is ? Premiership player All Australian Norm Smith medallist 2 x B.&F winner 2 x B&F Runner He polled 16 votes in the Brownlow across 10 games in his comeback year All the trades offered so far are a disgrace He’s contracted. The Crows can go f€€>k themselves !! Stand up Dees and show some ballz!!- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
That’s a joke. “14” becomes “20” after free agency compo and compensation picks. That’s a deesaster for us !!!- Trade Targets
Tim Lamb. Please show some backbone this year.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
Crows cannot offer anything to anyone unless it means the Dees get screwed. We are now a laughing stock on field. Dont let that be also off field !!! Stand firm.- Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
AGREE. TRAC CAN NOMINATE THE CROWS BUT REMEMBER HE IS UNDER CONTRACT. IF THE CROWS OFFER US A “PACKET OF BISCUITS” IN THIS AVERAGE COMPROMISED DRAFT AND THE NEXT COMPROMISED DRAFT, THEN THE ANSWER IS A NO. PICKS AROUND 21-22 ARE AN INSULT. TRAC IS UNDER CONTRACT. HE WAS RUNNER UP IN THE B&F. HE POLLED 16 BROWNLOW VOTES. KING. GUERRA. GREEN/SMITH. SHOW SOME TEETH AND MAKE A STAND.- Trade Targets
Successful Footy Trades usually are working on players who were playing AFL footy but seek to move due to Money Longer contract terms Going home /Need a fresh start Are in and out and in and out (and want regular footy) Players in the early to mid 20s work generally best Looking through the finals and seeing the teams, that’s the go. It’s proven. It’s not picking up players who are injury riddled or can’t get a game at their current club. We did it through 2017 -20. Hibberd. Lever. May. Langdon. Melksham. Brown. It made sense !! By the way. The Lions. Neale. Cameron. Dunkley. Ah Chee. All were regulars at their prior clubs who were traded in for a reason- Mason Cox
Mason Cox ? No- Farewell Judd McVee
We move on. Juddas has decided to move on. Now let’s get the best deal and focus on the players who want to stay and work hard to improve and get fitter and stronger.- Farewell Judd McVee
It was satire… mocking the Lions when they lost 3 players to the go home (Polec, Docherty , Yeo). They cried out and with AFL pumping millions into resources, the local Brisbane footy scene is vibrant with record participation across ages 8-16 for boys and girls and growing. We’ve seen only the tip of the iceberg. Their academy is flourishing. Conceivably 4 Lions academy players should be drafted this year. They could get all four. Annabel is top 5 definitely. Each year they will likely get a top 10 nurtured talent for some points allocation. It’s BS now !!- Farewell Judd McVee
@Travy14 hmmmm. Say we get 29 off the FOCKERS for McVee. Then package up the 23,29, +Spargo compensation. After free agency picks, picks slide down to likely to be say 26, 33, 43. Could we package up for Suns pick 16 which ends up as a pick 21-22 pick in any event after compensation. It’s a mess with the free agent compensations and the academy picks and father son picks.- Farewell Judd McVee
I’m sick of all these players wanting to go home. It’s unfair and the AFL need to do something about it. Let me think. They should create an academy system where you can develop local talent and if they are good, you get to have priority access to them. Sorry, has that already been done? Sorry who’s that for? Lions, Suns, Giants, Swans. Are they struggling clubs? Oh, Lions … the back to back premiers!! Swans. Runners up in 2024. Giants, Suns, Lions. Three of them were in 2025 finals. Wow that system sounds like a big winner. 🤣🤣🤣😭😭😭- Farewell Judd McVee
? is Judd McVee from Geraldton. 400kms from Perth ? Returning home ? I guess it’s closer !! - The List Manager Tim Lamb
