  1. I actually want to revise mine, Collingwood and Carlton look seriously ordinary, I can't see either getting anywhere near the top 8
  2. Has Mitch been placed on the long term injury list?
  3. I am not by any stretch writing Toumpas off but last year did our entire team have 19 contested touches all together, Wines is a fighter and a half.
  4. James Frawley Tom Mcdonald Lynden Dunn Jack Grimes Alexis Georgiou Jack Trengove Dom Tyson Bernie Vince Dean Terlich Jack Watts Cam Pederson Jay Kennedy-Harris Max Gawn Jack Fitzpatrick Jeremy Howe Jake Spencer Nathan Jones Daniel Cross Jimmy Toumpas Viv Michie Sam Blease Matt Jones
  5. True but i mean you could copy and paste the text somewhere else, the idea was nice.
  6. I reckon Frawley, Garland and Georgiou can hold up as a solid backline, Mcdonald and Garland could interchange as the forward option, i believe both have the capacity to play either end
  7. you could copy the positive messages and link it to his twitter? he might like that he has so much support
  8. probably fair enough, i certainly see him playing abit of seniors for them this year though.
  9. I have been told by a Saints supporter who attends trainings and stuff that Gilbert is a long show and Fisher is very underdone and without our big gun forwards he doubts they will risk him, massive hole in a side isn't it, Hayes, Dal Santo, Montagna, Wellar, Stevens, Goddard, that's a very good AFL midfield not playing
  10. Hayes, Steven, Fisher, Shcnieder, Montagna, Wellar, gilbert, Longer, so their midfield is hampered pretty severely, Longer doesn't help their ruck stocks, Gilbert and Fisher missing from their defence
  11. Stuies thread was a great idea and never should have been merged with a thread about offloading Mitch because he is injured, what's worse is that people who claim to be demon supporters couldn't embrace the chance to say something positive and vent on another thread, i mean it really isn't that complicated.
  12. I still fully believe a year in the forward line and Watts could snag us a good amount of goals, he lacks the physicality to be a mid
  13. Exactly, we are light on for tall forwards but tall backs just now we are doing alright, i reckon Roosy would be considering that.
  14. It would have been pretty cool to keep the thread positive and then link it to Mitch's twitter or something
  15. It will be really interesting when Garland is back, can Garland, Frawley, Mcdonald, Georgiou, Grimes, Terlich and Dunn all work together, or does a Garland or a Dunn potentially go forward? Mcdonald was also drafted as a CHF
  16. I'd go down a slightly different path we need to be careful with our money because i believe Nathan Jones, jeremy Howe, Jack Trengove, Jesse Hogan and Colin Garland are all out of contract at the end of 2015, and this year James Frawley, Lynden Dunn and Tom Mcdonald are, we wouldn't want to lose any more than 1 of that group imo Roos replacement i reckon they will have a fair idea of who that's going to be by now
  17. I'd wait and see what happens with his leave to get a better sense of where the situation is heading, he may yet come back fit and firing and play in the second half of the year.
  18. We need to consider what's best for Mitch, that may be being in perth with his family, especially if as being suggested Mental illness is involved, we need to be open to the idea of facilitating a move for the well being of Mitch as a person before we consider an ideal world where Mitch is our all conquering forward that's my opinion anyway, Mitch needs to be put first, as Roosy says the club exists for it's players.
  19. I reckon Gawn gets a spot in the forward line and relief ruck, having Fitzy and Pedo as well who can do that and sharing it around helps cover any concerns about Gawn being underdone imo and Gawn, Fitzy, Pedo, Howe, Kennedy-Harris and co are going to seriously test the saints defence, especially if we beat them out of the middle as expected.
  20. I reckon we'd have to foot a portion of the bill, but if we keep him on and he spends the entire year in Perth on leave we're doing that anyway, but the most important thing for Mitch is his health an happiness and i just find it really difficult to see him back out there as a Dees player again at this point.
  21. Assuming he gets to somewhere near fit by the end of 2014, Freo would have to look at him, obviously the injury probably knocks his value around abit but it's about what's best for Mitch and if we could get something out of it everyone wins.
  22. Perhaps it might be time to consider a potential trade back to Perth? if that's what's best for Mitch and the mfc can get a good result out of it i reckon it should be looked at, as much as i'd be sad to see him go.
  23. I say we wait until he retires before we discuss his replacement, a fit and firing Mitch Clark is better than anyone we will attract on the market
  24. if you believe Stereotypes we probably have more teeth in our 30,000 members than they do in their 60,000
  25. I can't believe people are worried about if it's paid leave or not, he's a demon player going through a tough time, either offer something supportive or keep quiet it's really not that hard, it's this basic common sense that seperates us from Collingwood supporters and right now we look just as bad. All the best Mitch!
