  1. So we've hard Richo, Pert and Roffey all do interviews since the Trac stuff dropped, and i don't know about anyone else but right now every major leader of the club is reducing my confidence in the club, besides Goody who i think is presenting quite well given what he's got to work with. We're in a bad bad spot at the moment, and it feels like we hardly know any of what's actually gone on that's created the storm.
  2. Gut feel on if the club caves and trades him, or if we hold him to his contract and really upset the applecart?
  3. Better solution to the stress of football. Gin.
  4. Saints can have him for pick 7, 8 and Max King, otherwise send him to the Pies.
  5. I would have thought 100% of Dees fans would fully support an independent review of the club. this is the only way to guarantee and end to the talk of our toxic culture and to ensure we actually have the right things in place.
  6. Even with his injury, even the hospital missed the spleen issue for hours, it's a horrible thing that's happened to him and i am glad he's getting help to deal with the associated Trauma, but using that as an excuse to try and seek a trade, but only to these couple of clubs is not going to make you very many friends. If you're wanting to go to Carlton for professionalism and culture and winning flags, you might find very quickly the grass isn't always greener, the Blues haven't won a premiership, or even gotten close in nearly 30 years.
  7. Geez he's a unit isn't he! hahaha
  8. My gut feel is that it's going to become so toxic that we have no choice but to move Trac on, and we'll be unlikely to get exactly the deal we'd like, though i suspect the return will still be significant. I think we'll get 2 first round picks, and a good young player and Trac will get to one of the Blues, Pies, Bombers.
  9. I think given our cultural challenges, getting a legend of the arguably greatest culture in modern AFL history would be a really smart move, he would still be in our best 22, could transition into a coaching role and really help us to get our culture on track and develop our leadership. If we're not up to our necks in chasing parker we're making a mistake
  10. I'm so sick of these low ball ridiculous offers. It's mcreery and a late first rounder or don't even bother calling me
  11. Correct, I believe Trac is behaving like a petulant child through all of this, but the biggest worry is that the very legitimate issues that are at least in part fueling this end up being dismissed because Trac has approached this so poorly. The club needs a serious clean out and overhaul, we're a mess regardless of what Trac does.
  12. In my view Pert needs to go, i have zero trust in anything he says He said " we have the best culture in 40 years" and we missed the finals and had several major off field issues He said "He's not having conversations were Petracca about breaking his contract or being traded" Maybe you're not, but he was certainly aware that was his intention in my view. if you want the fans trust, admit there are significant issues to work through, commit to a full audit of every area of the club, get things right and give us a fighting chance of being relevant in 2025. Fans aren't [censored], the majority on here saw right through the Petracca situation the moment the reports dropped, and i don't think clubs as a general rule give this point enough consideration, we're not toddlers and can handle the news that things need to improve, you're not protecting anyone coz the players clearly know.
  13. I tried to tell him, he won't listen to me. said he's going to Man City. Honestly one of my biggest gripes with Trac is his food always looks incredible and i try and make it and it just doesn't work.
  14. I'd probably do it for pick 8, future first and someone like Caldwell who i rate, or Nic Martin or Nate Caddy
  15. I don't buy into the age being a problem for them either, they'll always be attractive to players, they'll hit the free agency market and continue to refresh on the run the same way Geelong have really successfully, they're a lot like an NBA side in a way, their entire list management strategy is about putting the best possible supporting cast around the Daicos boys.
  16. Trading for Harry McKay would be a mistake, if we lose Trac on top of Gus, with the question marks over Clarry and Viney getting older we simply don't have the midfield to load up, we need any return to include high end draft picks and or good young players. A Carlton trade i'd prefer to be for TDK and 2 first round picks. I doubt they'd like that, but a package like that to me makes more sense for where we're at.
  17. Not sure Trac is really going to like not being the big star at Carlton behind Cripps and Curnow. Maybe he will try to push them both out and then demand another trade at the end of 2025 being unhappy with their direction
  18. If Richmond or North don't take him 1 or 2 they'll regret it for 15 years. I'd take him pick 1 if i was Richmonds list manager. If we get him at what will be pick 6, start dancing coz it's a huge steal
  19. I am absolutely floored by this whole situation. WTF
  20. I think you're both right, I think there are clearly issues we need to address, but there is also evidence we're getting a hell of a lot more right than most other clubs, basically all of our good players are locked in long term, we've had stability in basically all lines, we won 11 games despite the off season and injury run from hell, and that's off the back of 3 consecutive top 4 finishes. There is definite reasons for optimism, and i think we can play finals next year if we have a good trade/draft period, listen to the players and make appropriate changes and get Trac and Clarry back in for huge pre-seasons and keep the injuries to a minimum
  21. He's high end character and leadership and when fit he can give us something we're desperately lacking, if we get him for virtually nothing outside of money, i don't see why we wouldn't.
  22. Unless it's Curnow, i'd also want Picks. McKay and their next 2 first rounders
  23. I mean in 2022, 2023 he was All Australian and right at the pointy end of the brownlow since. Possible your mate isn't a great judge?
  24. Did your doggies mate watch him rip them a new one in the grand final where they got pumped?
  25. I agree that Trac is really struggling and mental health is a factor, there is little doubt about that. My contention with that being used as a reason for remaining silent is that Trac has a management group that could silence this in 5 seconds, and being on every newspaper and headline and all over social media, not always in a positive light is not going to help his mental health Ultimately though, he's making a decision to remain quiet, there is no obvious barrier to him or his management putting this to rest.
