It's worth noting Clarry is contracted and can just decide to stay and back himself in.

If he's desperate to stay at the MFC, thinks that's the best thing for his welfare as that's where he's support network is set up given how fragile he has been it would be significantly more irresponsible to surround him with change, uncertainty and doubt all for the sake of money. I feel like the suns should be a fairly obvious choice. Their talent on paper is just ridiculous and Trac wouldn’t actually need to be a superstar for them to win a flag next year and beyond. I feel like the crows need him to be at his absolute best to get value where as the suns he’s more of the icing on the cake.

He’s on a hiding to nothing in a lot of ways because we aren’t the most attractive we’ve ever been so he probably cops it if we don’t sign anyone, and we probably don’t have great options so if he does sign 1-2 of them and they’re busts he probably cops it as well.

I think you're right, i wonder if 23, the Spargo compensation and maybe later selections can get us closer points wise. I know the MFC would like the optics of the 2 top 10 picks thing, that's easier to sell to the members and sponsors than pick 15 or whatever the Crom have.
