If you took the players on our list most responsible for the poor conversion inside 50 due to long, aimless bombs or rushing rather than making good decisions. One of them met with Dimma on the Gold Coast today and the other is on the way out now. I think by virtue of that alone we should see a difference. when the guys kicking it inside 50 aren't great kicks or decision makers we can't be surprised when our conversion is bad.

Is there any danger we could just have an uneventful off season? maybe we bring in 1-2 players, maybe we trade someone, no huge shots, no paying guys salary to play elsewhere

Perhaps this has driven the Clarry decision, we could increase our offers to Flanders and Humphrey and be really really happy fans if it plays out well.

I think we've been imploding since 2021 and it's quite jarring to see some strong leaders steadying the ship, it's making everyone feel a bit uncomfortable but i think if we take the emotion out of it, this young group coming through is where we need to focus, and move on from 2021 and the Goodwin era.

I think the other side of this is i think Petracca, Oliver and May to some extent have been masking how good our youth actually is and that's where it's going to surprise a few next year Lindsay, Langford, Kozzie, Turner, Windsor, Tholstrup, Rivers, Bowey, Chandler, Van Rooyen and so on is a really good group
