		Farewell Jesse Hogan

In that scenario I’d want pick 6 and 9 but there is a bit of chatter they might also be keen on dean Kent. Not sure if that would be a seperate deal

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

I don’t mind the future pick idea anyways because I suspect freo will have an average year again. Get a top 5 pick this year and next year have two first rounders and a strong position to chase a free agent

Bet you we do, and if that’s not what the club demands they aren’t serious. He’s contracted so freo can pay up or F off

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

Maybe not but if hogan wants to leave you’re tossing up a better deal now or a compo pick potentially next year

Roosy reckons we should just refuse to trade him.

I think Watts they knew they’d get the player they wanted and lever they knew they were going to have to give up 2 to get him. I’m willing to bet we get two for Jesse

I’d accept brayshaw and their first rounder for hogan.

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

He’s contracted and other similar players have been worth 2 picks so that’s what we will get for hogan. Freo are desperate and will cough them up just to get a good player over the line.

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

If he wants to go, 2 top 10 picks and on ya bike. Bring in may, use the cap space to increase our offer to gaff and get back into the pointy end of the draft. Another pre season into weid and I think he could have a good year of 40 goals as well

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

May is a significant upgrade on Oscar. I think he’s an all Australia quality key back in a decent side.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

My big question is can pruess be an effectively enough resting forward or do we lose out on forward pressure having him there. It’s basically him or weid

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

See I don’t agree, I don’t think we are good enough to mess with things, still too prone to dropping those games to risk it

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

I’m saying vardy can play forward. Pruess can not. If you’re going to play two rucks the secondary ruck has to be able to play forward

Nothing to see here folks. Jesse hogan will be suiting up in the red and blue round 1 2019. Steven may will not.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - STEVEN MAY

The only way you can play 2 rucks is if the second one is a dangerous forward target. Nathan vardy would have been a good get when he was on the market for this reason. I don’t see pruess being any more than backup and it’s weird that he’d want to come to us when sides like the cats, dogs and eagles are desperate for a number one ruck

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

He’s apparently got a ridiculous offer from the dockers in front of him but seriously why would anyone go near that mob? If he did request a trade (which he won’t I don’t believe) id be asking for pick 6 and the pick they get For Neale likely 4

		Josh Kelly

I would offer kelly a massive deal. He is exactly what our team needs. He is the sort of player who would take us from very good to great potentially.

2019 best 22 and depth chart

My view of the best 22 for next year Lever Oscar Jetta salem. Frost. Hibbo jones. Oliver. Harmes petracca. Hogan. Vanders melksham McDonald. Weideman gawn. Brayshaw. Viney. Lewis. Nibbler. Hannan. Fritsch I think Lewis will be under pressure to keep his spot just given his age but he’s good enough to play his role and hold it jones will need to settle into a slightly different role. Maybe up forward. Not sure he’s good enough overhead to play back all the time. Could also be a tagger. Beauty of harmes is he can shut someone down without losing his offensive output oscar I think had improved a lot this year and lever back in will help him a lot. The backs too often don’t talk and fly for the same ball. This needs to be worked on over pre season up forward we will need to work hard on our connection and forward craft. We will become super dangerous when those guys begin to isolate and create space for each other. Too often they all get dragged to the same spot. Tyson isn’t best 22 for mine at this stage and is someone I’d consider offers for. I think he’s worth a pick between 25-35 the addition of some outside pace on the wings would help a huge amount. This gives baker and hunt and opening if they can have a good pre season all in all I think we had a bad day in the prelim but we are close to a flag. We will be better for the run in finals and a huge chance to go one better next year if the hunger remains and the growth continues

2019 best 22 and depth chart

Gawns back up has the be the third tall forward. Can’t carry 4. I personally don’t even know about 3 I think we look better with just 2 talls and some good smalls

2019 best 22 and depth chart

I wouldn’t mind betting young baker will have a massive pre season and have a serious crack at locking in a best 22 spot next year. I really like him as a player

		Josh Kelly

You know I don’t think it does, we have shown all year we play a style that stacks up, we just had a nightmare of a day. In saying that I agree that kelly should be a target

		Farewell Jesse Hogan

Jesse is not going to leave a club he’s been through an entire rebuild with that is now a genuine premiership contender for the foreseeable future, to go to a club like Fremantle that needs a rebuild and is years away from challenging or west coast who are propped up by some older stars. This dees team could legitimate have the sort of success hawthorn have had and No one is going to be asking for a trade away anytime soon.
