I reckon Todd Goldstein is wondering how he is going to defend one of the leagues best endurance athletes, the only advantage he as is the hit outs and we saw what Jacobs did with 70 odd last week

The wheel is turning it's just a matter of how quickly it does, we need to develop the maturity to consistently bring effort and intensity to four quarters of footy. Our best is absolutely as good as anyone in the comp but our lapses cost us. I think our mids will be much better for not having gawn there and I expect to see his inclusion really boost the side. Sam frost coming on the way he has really helps as well. A healthy and in form Jesse hogan is a must to seriously challenge in September but his health comes first

Bit of love for Sam over the last few weeks! Not only did he totally shut down a very good and in form tex walker but his rebound and ball use were also very exciting! I reckon he's had a break out few games and I can't see him going out of the side anytime soon unless he gets injured. Hes always athletically been pretty special, nearly as quick as Jayden hunt but key position size. Could be a fantastic key defender for us for a long time. And i really liked tommy forward so if he allows him to be a swing man it just makes us even more dangerous and unpredictable

Until this year I wasn't super confident when he had a set shot but he seems to have really improved there! I reckon he's going to have a massive game at some point and blow it open

Jacobs had 70 hit outs and the crows were the best clearance/contested ball in the comp and we smashed them out of the middle. I still can't wrap my head around how that's possible beyond Jacobs taps were average and our mids read the ball a lot faster than the crows

I officially retract my questions about jacks handling of the captiancy, he's been Selwood like in the way he's played and looks like dragging the team over the line in the last two weeks! Jack is an absolute monster and his return to top form is huge for the club

I reckon if it's another confirmed concussion we should just give him a good solid break if not the whole season then maybe 8 weeks or something. Obviouslt the experts will make a judgement on what's best for gus but it's becoming pretty concerning
