Just to hammer this point home. BH is about the same age and upside as Harley Reid only he's done more, and done it in bigger games. If he nominates us, get his signature as fast as we possibly can and anything else is an absolute bonus.

I'd go further. if Humphrey wants to come with us, i'm asking for him plus pick 6. Trac is an established pro, BH is a talented young player who hopes to develop into a Trac level player.

Also worth noting pick 7 and 17 will actually end up something like pick 11 and pick 22

I would prefer the picks to be honest. Hardline that we want 6 and 7, even if we send something else back. This gives us 6 top 12 picks in the last 3 years which is a great start to a rebuild and then bank 3 mil in cap space. Give King 12 months to clean the joint up and then a war chest to hit the free agency market. we could bring in a combo of Bailey and Butters into an already exciting group. I love Humphrey, but i just can't fathom why a GCS all in on a flag would let him go.

The issue is the only things we have to offer him right now are money and his relationship with Steven King. which i mean Dimma has already coached him longer than king did so that's overstated. I don't want us to go full St Kilda and offer anyone that isn't an established superstar level player superstar money, but i feel that's the only way someone like Humphrey is going to consider us.
