Not sure If I am more excited about the debut of Petracca or the return of Trenners. Lots of reasons to be pumped for this season.

He bled so much for the MFC, he was in my opinion the best captain we have had since our last flag. Hes the last player to kick double digit goals in a final. I dont think even Ablett, Lockett or Dunstall managed to kick 10 in a final. Couldnt care less what hes like off the field or about his personal life, he is a legend of the club.

Christian Petracca's toe injury (in full training)

This and the footage of Trenners at training, .. very nice -
What a sight Might need to rethink my Round 1 team
-
So many non-competitive players drafted around that time. Scary really. Thank christ the total opposite is happening under Roos.
-
Well hes injured all the time. and he mostly wasn't in my Round 1 team as he isnt good enough.
-
Now you see why I laughed at everyone that had him in their best 22 for Round 1 Incidentally I had Sam Frost at CHF in mine.. which is where he trained today
-
Glad that pic came up the day after I said Jesse would be a 1 club player Thats the smile of a man that just signed a long term deal
-
Isn't it nice to have a list of competitive players? More of this please. Go Dees
-
Hogan will be a 1 club player
-
Good, he is one of the best set shots for goal in the league
-
Yes very excited about Dom.. was brilliant in 2014, and although he had some what of a down season last year his stats still stacked up well with anyone at the MFC. If he has shaken his knee niggle he should go to the next level.

http://www.theage.com.au/afl/melbourne-demons/michelle-cowan-appointed-to-melbournes-coaching-staff-20160203-gmkpkt.html?&utm_source=social&utm_medium=twitter&utm_campaign=nc&eid=socialn:twi-14omn0023-optim-nnn:nonpaid-27/06/2014-social_traffic-all-organicpost-nnn-age-o&campaign_code=nocode&promote_channel=social_twitter A woman has been employed among the coaches of an AFL club for just the second time in history with Michelle Cowan, already a state league pioneer, joining the Melbourne Football Club in a groundbreaking set-up. Australia's top female footballer Daisy Pearce has also been signed by the Demons in a full-time role that has seen her resign as a midwife, initially to join Melbourne's commercial team. As a player development and welfare coach, Cowan follows the path of Peta Searle who almost abandoned her dream to coach at the elite level before St Kilda recruited her in mid-2014.

Saturday Talking Point: Gillon McLachlan has lost the plot

Has there ever been a good AFL CEO? Demetriou, McLachlan and Wayne Jackson all sucked/suck. Was Ross Oakley any good? -

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
What replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
It is ultra impressive how quickly he has changed his body shape... check out how pudgy he was in the first half of 2015 in TAC cup games , then check the latest MFC training pics. The kid seems like a real workhorse, and once he got a sniff that he might be good enough to get drafted he grabbed it with both hands and went to another level. Very exciting prospect. -
Jack Trengove re-injures his navicular (2014) - trade deal off
What replied to Wiseblood's topic in Melbourne Demons
I believe everyone will have a momentary heart attack before they realize its an old thread. Terrible bump -
WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - CLAYTON OLIVER
What replied to Freddy Fuschia's topic in Melbourne Demons
if Trent Cotchin is considered a star then Nathan Jones better bloody well be I bet I know who all 18 clubs would take out of the two if given the choice -
He will give the B and F a shake this season, and maybe even the AA team. Yes he is that good.
