That pick will be traded for Lever.
-
He was out of form, he got dropped. Didn't set the world alight at Casey Our forward line functioned fine without him. Whats the problem and how was he mismanaged?
-
He has been named... question is will he play? Three weeks removed from a broken collarbone.
-
Surely Hogan cant play after breaking his collarbone 3 weeks ago? How is this possible.... I know nothing about collarbones but it seems pretty incredible.

Delist - Spencer, Trengove, Kennedy, Hulett, White Upgrade - Maynard, Keilty

Would love Matera. Just about everything our coaching and development staff touches turns to gold and we might be able to get him for a bargain, like the Garlett trade. Imagine trying to remain motivated playing for the soul-less Suns all those years, and then to make things worse, Rocket Eade comes along.

Had forgotten all about that guy.... haven't seen him post in a while.... in fact it coincides with when Pedersen came into the side for Gawn and dominated or a couple of months. He was very lippy up until that point. Given his outright disdain for Pedders, I wonder if he stopped posting cos he was made to look like such a fool by his great form. Anyway, no loss, just a thought.

That would be amazing if Keilty debuted this week. Even with so much on the line its probably a good week to debut him as the Lions KP players are young and raw. Wouldnt surprise anyone though if he did come in, hes been in red hot form and Goody loves to surprise us. Perhaps he has moved ahead of Frost in the coaches eyes. T Mac is better up forward and this will release him to play there.

Would love to get Port. We play the Adelaide Oval very well and they are a bloody average side who have beaten up on the bottom 4 and beaten nobody in the top 8.

http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-16/i-expected-to-play-finals-adams-lets-rip COLLINGWOOD'S players believe they deserve to be featuring in the AFL finals, and are p***ed off they aren't. "We know we've put in a power of work over the last couple of years and we thought we deserved some results and some on-field success," Adams told RSN. 'Deserved'. This is exactly why they aren't playing finals. (Along with their rubbish list and coach.)

Well then you got lucky as that is the bye round.

Hibberd and Oliver surely will make the AA team. Jetta a huge chance and will be a certainty if they choose a lock down defender, as they should . Check out other teams forums and all three make a high % of the teams.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - MICHAEL HIBBERD
What replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
The metres gained king and averaging 28 touches off half back combined with his immense courage.... surely will be AA. http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-16/all-australian-40man-squad-whos-in-the-mix-from-your-club Michael Hibberd: Missed the first four games due to an Achilles injury, but the former Bomber has been one of the competition's best defenders this season. Hibberd has been one of the recruits of the year, with the attacking defender averaging a career-high 28 disposals and ranking No.1 in the AFL for average metres gained per match (566.9m). -
http://www.afl.com.au/news/2017-08-16/all-australian-40man-squad-whos-in-the-mix-from-your-club Clayton Oliver: Deserves to be in the final team based on his consistent output in a breakout second year at AFL level. Oliver has averaged 30 disposals, including 10 games above 30 touches or more, and 6.8 clearances per game. Gets criticised by some for over handballing, but his hands in heavy congestion are elite and almost unrivalled.
-
Hes on the verge of becoming the first player in the long history of the Melbourne Football CLub to average 30+ disposals in a season.
-
Carltank can have Curnow, I've seen enough from the Weid to know he will be a dominant forward soon enough. Amazing how some people are writing off when he just turned 20.
-
Thats just scary.
-
Thats crazy. We need all the fresh bodies we can get at this time of the season.
-
Wouldn't worry too much about that, the Crows will have their form to play for. With the bye after round 23 you would want to go in firing on all cylinders. A poor performance and then 2 weeks til their first final would not be good. Never flirt with form, as they say.
-
Probably been mentioned but on Footy Classified they showed Hogan at training hitting the tackle bags, though he was avoiding his collarbone in the footage they showed. Doubt he plays this week but he looks keen as mustard, and might be a chance vs the Filth. The kid wants to be on the field badly, you can tell he desperately wants to play finals. More than anyone he deserves a happy ending to this season after the crap hes been through.
-
Melksham has been great too. Our recruiting has done a total 180 since the Roos era began.
-
Just thinking what an incredible move it was to trade up in the draft to nab him. Jumped right in front of Essendrug who took Parish, and who is about 1/5th the player Clarry is.
-
Yup his finishing is terrible Hes kicked 20 goals 32 behinds this season. And god knows how many missed everything or fell short.
-
Tom Bugg might be a chance vs the Lions if we want fresh legs. I think the plan was to bring in Watts and Salem and rest another couple of guys, but Salem screwed that up with his stupidity.
