FWIW I suspect anyone if they wanted to could have walked away from an AFL contract in 2020 as the requirement to work in an interstate hub was outside the terms of the contract. For 2021 it could be different. Of course contracts for personal services are rarely enforced other than toplace the departee on gardening leave. That might not be good for MFC as we could have to pay both him and his replacement. Might be able to sue the Crows for inducing a breach of contract but who knows. There is no other country in the world that has closed internal states off from one another like we have. Sure cities and areas have been quarantined and distance restrictions have been imposed but States.... not to my knowledge.
