  1. He's been okay but in racing parlance.... prefer others How Bedford is preferred to Chandler is amazing.
  2. Out of the selected team it's either Weideman or Chandler up forward in place of Bedford. Dunstan for Oliver Not sure between Hunt or Rivers for Bowey Never thought I'd say it but I'd give Weid one more chance. Petracca's 3 goals last week covered up an incredibly bad forward line performance PS I just realised that that the Melksham selection was real..... Speechless
  3. Lobb's an early second round probably. Their first round pick allowing for priority picks is around 17-18. No thanks That plus a top five pick might get it done Freo has to trade a very good player to get this done
  4. Allowing for priority picks that would be two picks around 18. No thanks Two by top five picks or a top five player plus a late first rounder. Jackson was a third pick who would clearly go number 1 in a redraft
  5. That 2018 win was a thing of beauty
  6. Like many I have resolved myself to Jackson leaving. If you are playing two ruckmen one at least has to have goal kicking capability (15-25) plus around the ground capability. I suppose Meek frees Gawn to play forward but as most have said he's steak knives in any deal with Freo
  7. The same as the general community but as I understand it clubs encourage RAT tests in an attempt to stop wider breakouts. Perhaps it's like loading...some clubs do... some don't
  8. Well this is a tough one. For the optimists you want Carlton and the Swans to win. For the others it's the reverse. It's going to be a nerve wracking weekend PS wins by Adelaide and the Giants would be nice but unlikely
  9. How can you have a "coach killer"match if the coach is not there. Melbourne by 100 (in my dreams)
  10. Perhaps that wonderful phrase...Health Protocols
  11. I suspect that the Swans have already well and truly spent the "buddy savings" elsewhere. If it's "only"$200k they will find it but if he is after a 2 year deal on $700k a year it could be a stretch. If he is traded do the Swans get the free agent compo pick
  12. Joel Smith becoming tantalisingly close at 1-2 weeks
  13. This forward line just isn't working. Assuming Bedford out who goes in Weideman... maybe... but he has been given multiple chances JVR... I would have said not this year but we're desperate and he had a very good game in the wet against Geelong Chandler......is there enough upside Laurie... could be a bolter but I'm not sure Another thought.. play Petracca 70% forward (but who do you put in the middle especially this coming weekend if Oliver is out... Brayshaw?)
  14. Adelaide being thumped by Hawthorn
  15. You have to wonder now what our win against the Lions showed form wise. A long six weeks in front of us
  16. Essendon on the way to doing a North Melbourne Not our weekend so far
  17. Have often thought that there should be a more organised way for players to re-enter the arena. Exit via the wing but perhaps re-enter via either goal. Alternatively the interchange gate is "closed" when the ball is within 50 metres In my simple calculations we have approximately 300 movements through the interchange gates each match
  18. Like a game of snakes and ladders but this year it looks like we have landed on the snake Who would have thought it at 10-0
  19. Assuming you mean Horne Francis I'm sure there's a number of clubs. If Jackson goes West I'd be content with HF and a top 10 pick.
  20. None stood out JVR continuing to audition and looking good for 2023. Chandler... two purple patches with little between Weid.. struggled but not disgraced Hunt... a definite maybe Rivers... needs to learn how to impose himself skills wise Dunstan.. okay Baker... papers stamped Laurie...need to see more of his defensive side Tomlinson...lumbering but it was wet Woewodin..ask me in 2023 Of the above I think Hunt and perhaps Weid or Chandler are possible selections for the red centre PS This game showed how low we are on ruck stocks
  21. JVR is arriving at the station
  22. Tomlinson with a bad drop
  23. Commentators mentioned that the Geelong player came charging off the interchange so perhaps Munro didn't see him
  24. Lovely mark and pass from Chandler to Weideman
