It's not somuch his contract as any sane club would be demanding that Collingwood pick up half. It's the contract length if it doesn't work. Unable to replace Cox who this time last year was unwanted. If GWS loses players of the calibre they are suggested to lose they have a lot more "risk dollars" to spend than we have. If going down this path Goldstein if available for a year is a far easier deal

Interesting ruck conundrum today. Bell (a recent Casey addition) against two AFL seasoned rucks including one in Stefan Martin who "was" highly rated. Rucks had basically no impact. No wonder players like LJ are sought after

Agree it wasn't a JVR type day today. His positioning to mark for his one goal was very good. Darcy for the Bulldogs was probably more impressive so it wasn't impossible for big men. Next year is his time Very early days for Woewodin but he is showing glimpses.His 2023 VFL season will be important.
