I know and I like it. Let's be honest with ourselves that we would not be challenging the top end due to a lot of factors so why not make something of the backend. Can't keep going to the BBB, Schache, Billings well, otherwise we'll lose another Bedford or Jordan.

I feel for the guy as I have no doubt he is trying but confidence in himself and potentially his body is holding him back. He virtually had no preseason and we expected him to dominate from Round 1 which was never going to happen. It makes so much sense to get a half forward with grunt and connect. We don't have one of those with BOTH attributes. Also, Langdon has been nothing like his pre-rib injury form, which might be the kick in the pants he needs. Anyone can run all day but you need to be damaging as well.

If the Saints pay 50% of the salary then it is a no brainer. A seasoned player who needs a fresh start could be the new Blake Acres (not playing wise but draft steal) and in a winning environment.
