The Bailey Humphrey Thread
Walking out of the ground on the weekend I was stopped by a Gold Coast supporter who straight out declared that Humphrey will be at the Dees in 2027. When I asked why it was all due to the $$$ we are offering.

Ours is fastest ball speed(!)
I am happy to yo-yo when you see performances like last week's second half and from the second quarter on against Freo. It will take time to click and for the dfence to position better behind the ball in a fast-moving gameplan. Tell me when youv'e been more exited to watch the Dees: the last three weeks or the last three years? I'll take A thanks Eddie.

Gather Round Guernsey
I like it. All clubs are making it a special gathering and no-one in this forum will care what it looks like as long as we beat the Bombers.

My 3 word player analysis V Carlton
What's gone wrong with Roo? Check the delivery in the first half into the forward line, then he rucked. Can't get the lock of the ice-cream every week.

TRAINING: Tuesday 24th March 2026
Might need to go get the curtain for him.

Welcome to Demonland: Latrelle Sumner-Pickett
Not everyone kicked a goal either. I don't think it was lack of effort to tackle and more there wasn't a genuine opportunity to.

Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
It's been often stated by past and present coaches it takes around 50 games to feel comfortable at the level. Have a look at our next premiership tilt list and how many are around the number...

Koltyn Tholstrup Re-Signs until 2028
20 yo with 20 games under his belt. Gee we are a fickle mob. Based on that equation we would have sacked Gawny back in the day!

2026 Season Launch: Monday 2nd March 2026
The 2026 MFC Season launch is taking place this evening. Will Demonland be providing updates on the comms/messaging from the club?

GAMEDAY: Practice Match vs Richmond
The wind is awful at this ground. Anything short of a perfect kick is going to go wayward.

INTRACLUB: Friday 13th February 2026
I'm willing to accept an increase in turnovers in the early rounds if there is a willingness to take the game on like we have seen today. Over time, fitness will increase meaning the skill mistakes will decrese (less fatigue).

Melky LOVESSSSSSS the LONGGGG BOMB!

MATCH SIM: Friday 6th February 2026
When you break your arm, you know it straight away. Whether its the feeling or the noise it makes, a player knows (trust me; I did it three times when playing).

Still no way forward
JVR had 29 and 30 in his first two seasons. Fritch normally around the 40 mark. The reason for the lower totals was simply due to bad entry into 50, shocking leading patterns, and the kick it to the top o the square game plan that sucked!

Jason Taylor on AFL Gettable (18.11.2025)
Watched him at training yesterday, and he covers the ground well for a big guy. He did impress me with his aerobic work and repeated efforts. Definitely will be playing in 2026.

2026 AFL Fixture
Forget about what happened the year before and who we are playing twice. Who is to say the Hawks are going to be better? The Dockers too? The 'who we play twice' toughness is a myth. What's more of a concern is the lack of prime time games.

The New Home Base & Training Ground Thread
Hawthorn has moved out. Dignly is virtually ready for them.

Farewell Clayton Oliver
I blame the club for the contract, but the demise of Oliver over the last three seasons is due to his own behaviour. He is a club legend, BUT not from what he has delivered to the CLUB since the start of 2023. We have to lift our standards and thus why anyone who has dropped thir lip can be moved on and bringing in Stelle lifts the standards and culture.

Imploding
We have to do this reset before the Tasmanian devils come into the league. Otherwise we are going to be screwed like we were when gws and Gold Coast did. Also, how many of those players genuinely will be part of our next premiership tilt? I genuinely believe people don't want our legends to move on, but I think the culture they have created is the reason we have been subpar since the Grand final.

Christian Petracca and Clayton Oliver in 2026
My definition of culture is what you do when no one is looking. If you think the players are not responsible for this, then you are delusional.

Sam Flanders
Surely Tim Lamb's job is in jeopardy. Haven't traded in a gun since Langdon and Brown, and the contracts he has been dishing out to the geriatrics and injury-prone are stiffling the club. We need to get a fresh perspective and list-management ethos, just like we have done so far with the coach, CEO and in-coming president.
