I believe we just need to build a good TEAM. Not just hope star players will come on. If we can build a huge emphasis on team play we will win more than we lose. It's not always about talent sometimes it's just about working for your teammates.

Some of these "great" coaches were doing it for YEARS before they tasted success. We've got to give Neeld a good crack at it (at least 5 years) before we will really know how good he is. I don't care about getting Malthouse or Mathews they are past coaches. Do you think that when Malthouse was first interviewed for a coaching roll way back when there may have been people like is saying oh no he's too inexperienced. Neeld could turn into another Malthouse or he may not we just all need to get over it.

I doubt he would be eligible to play, which is good news wrap him up in cotton wool, put out an article on how he went out partying and punched someone and also make up a career threatening injury!!

If Brent wants to stay then we should find a spot for him. But if he wants to leave then he must be moved on, we can only keep players who WANT to play for us.

My feeling on this situation will be that we want Hogan either pick 3 or 4 for the MD. We will then be making a play for someone like Lynch from the eagles to come in and hold down a key position for acouple of years and teach Hogan everything he needs to know. Then we will be absolutely going for mids with either pick 3 or 4 whichever we have left and also with pick 13 and obviously Viney 2nd round. I also think they will go after one or 2 free agents I'm thinking either Young or Pearce as a winger and maybe an older player ie Chapman, Enright someone who knows what success is like to ingrain it in our youth.
