Has anyone else thought that perhaps it was a smart move to have already traded most our picks for players. Could this have been a planned way to already get people signed up so they can't be taken off us.

So is Matt Priddis but he's doing ok.

It's amazing how identical we are to Richmond. We have done exactly what they did a few years ago.

Just read on the demons website that our delistings have been named. Petterd, Bate, Bennell, Cook all gone. I guess no surprises there.

The more I think about it the more I realise that we as supporters look at our players as draft pick numbers. We think that because they were a high pick they are worth more. What Neeld and the footy departments realise is that once they are in the AFL system they are just another player and a draft number counts for nothing. They obviously rank these players as below average and therefore do not mind getting rid of them if we get something that we want in return i.e. Gysberts for Pedersen. I hope all our decisions work out but it goes to show there is no exact way to do things. You can pick up a Dane Swan at pick 40 something and he turns out to be a super star, or you can take a Jarrad Oakley Nicholls at a high pick and he ends up a dud. Go Dees!

Who really cares. Terry Wallace destroyed the Tigers once. I guess there is no exact way of doing things. No one can really know how we did until a year or two from now. Perhaps Gysberts and Morton do nothing an are delisted and Pedersen does well for us then we look like we did well.

I don't care that Morton is gone but we really could've got a little bit more for him. WTF will we even use pick 88 for? Even a pick like 50 odd could've netted a decent player and we have done well in the past with players at that number. I hope this club improves but I'm amazed at some of the decisions so far.

I was thinking if Eagles want Morton can we try and get a straight swap for Ash Smith. Victorian boy might be happy to come home.

I hope we don't trade Morton for a pick in the 60's. Surely he is worth more than Pedersen. I can't believe how ridiculous North are. Don't play a guy and expect the world for him, absolute jokers.

I keep hearing that Gysberts is gone but no one can provide an actual trade scenario. If North want a 2nd rounder for Pedersen then surely Gysberts at worst is worth a pick between 20-30.

Teams will probably not worry about trying to hold off on signing players in future scared of losing a pick. The picks on offer suck. We did better than the hawks though I'm happy about that.

Yeah I'm with you on this I wouldn't get too excited about him. I think he should be a swap for our 3rd round pick and best which is a fair trade I think. I really hope we don't trade our 2nd round compo (assuming that's what we get) for him. We may be able to pick up someone like a Dean Towers with that pick.

Mcintoch went for a second rounder, I would put him above Pedersen in rankings for picks.

Probably could get Pedersen with our 3rd rounder. Save the 2nd round pick for another young mid
