  1. Actually, he always gets too close to the man on the mark and kicks the ball too high He is still a work in progress and may be a decent player in years to come but he is nowhere near ready for AFL football this year IMHO
  2. So very harsh on Fritsch - arguably one of, if not, the most predictably good forwards in the last few seasons
  3. Impressive from Caleb Windsor and Nick Larkey ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  4. If you look at the form line of these two teams over the last couple of rounds we lose this game comfortably - the odds for a Norf win are so so generous Time to see if our club has any ticket left at all I have little confidence sadly
  5. He was sub and sadly got zero game time that day
  6. We probably need both to be fair Iโ€™d argue finding a big ruckman that can compete is way easier than finding a quality tall forward
  7. Didnโ€™t Max kick 5 goals in our final against Geelong ? I think that may have persuaded a few that Max could be our Paul Salmon - alas it was not to be
  8. They probably Fullarton could offer more but the lack of a genuine replacement or back up for Max is a very big fail in terms of list management at this stage
  9. All fair points but I always considered LJ as another midfielder His loss plus Brayshaw together with injury and poor form to others has decimated a once powerful midfield rotation IMHO
  10. My 2 cents Grundy and infact the swans generally are having a nice run of form. Are they good enough to win the cup ? Personally I have my doubts still I think they are a really solid well drilled and coached footy team Grundy has his limitations and canโ€™t jump, canโ€™t mark in contested situations and rarely if ever goals. He is good at scrapping and blocking and following up with contest when the ball is on the ground. However he is pretty slow and his disposal skills are just ok Itโ€™s a shame that things didnโ€™t work out at MFC with Brodie but we lost so much more losing LJ than Grundy make no mistake We do need a genuine back up for Max but that doesnโ€™t need to be a 2x AA it needs to be someone physically capable of a strong contest against AFL quality rucks - I think thatโ€™s one of our big weaknesses atm
  11. I thought Johnson might be good too at one point - however his performances recently have been really poor and the fact he struggles to make the scumbags forward line without their regular marking forwards tells you plenty about how he is now seen internally
  12. If you consider the players that started our comeback in the 21 GF quite a few are either no longer there (LJ , Harmes) injured (Petracca, Lever , Viney?) terribly out of form (Oliver), early retirement (Brayshaw) or simply a few years older and not at their peak Its a significant shift and one that I think people overlook Take Brayshaw, Jackson, Petracca, Oliver and Lever out of the 2021 GF team and Iโ€™m 100% sure we donโ€™t win ๐Ÿ†
  13. The scum again by one point how utterly disgusting
  14. Time to replay the 2021 GF perhaps Trac is thrown all over the place because is so good he can play basically any position - his consistency is pretty damn good Not saying Bont couldnโ€™t play any position because heโ€™s that good he probably could too - fact is with their depth of forwards he doesnโ€™t have to sit in front of incoming knees like Trac ๐Ÿ˜ข
  15. He just got out of ICU
  16. He just got out of ICU
  17. Brian put the stupid into stupidity - complete liability as a commentator and I fail to see why they persist with him
  18. Is there a duty of care not to slam your knee into someoneโ€™s ribs ? - asking for a friend
  19. I didnโ€™t say he wasnโ€™t allowed to have an opinion just that Iโ€™m not sure itโ€™s an opinion I value spot the difference?
  20. Political reporter writing about football - yeah nah!
  21. The best and only effective way to "get back" at low life brainless losers like Maynard is to beat them fair and square on the field - whilst I wouldn't shed a tear if their best player got injured like Trac next game our single objective should be to [censored] them senseless on the scoreboard - we can only hope
  22. Iโ€™ve lived overseas and still bought a membership - save your sanctimonious sermon for someone who cares
  23. LOL people who pretend to be supporters but donโ€™t buy a membership ๐Ÿ˜‚
  24. Surely the AFL has something worthwhile to focus on and not this dribble
  25. Agree but Iโ€™d definitely add LJ - imo a huge loss in so many ways
