  1. He plays golf on Tuesdays apparently
  2. Be very surprised if he has either the fitness base or work ethic to run through the midfield
  3. You are what you feel
  4. Joke that Essendon and top 4 can even be mentioned in the same sentence Pathetic pretenders and so good to see their season nosediving
  5. Good summary Iโ€™d like to see home play for Casey a few more times as I think his output will improve with more game time at that level and a better understanding of his teammates and game plan Looks physically up to it which is quite impressive for a lad of that age
  6. The best small forward weโ€™ve had since the The Wiz Both sensational players but Kozzy has arguably more tricks due to his time in the midfield He is building consistently in output and tempering some of his aggression One of our very best and a great career so far He is a ripper
  7. Unfortunately I havenโ€™t had the pleasure of watching the game yet due to a family commitment last night but I came here to enjoy reading what other supporters took from this game Your constant bleating and repetition bashing one of our own players is both tedious and annoying You made your point known 50 posts ago - how about focusing more on the positives and understanding that the coach and FD will determine selection and team composition which in their far more more insightful view optimises our chances of winning every game May a politely suggest you become a tad more glass half full
  8. This simply highlights how desperate we should be to get a genuine strong back up ruck itโ€™s just unsustainable to rely on Max fronting up week after week Obviously we thought Fullerton could be the foil for Max but so far he looks a long way off being capable of what we need - if he is not playing this week with Max absent then that says a fair bit about how the FD are rating him atm If he does get a go letโ€™s hope he performs well as that would be a big boost to our short term prospects
  9. Well I guess the mistake was taking it seriously
  10. Someoneโ€™s misplaced their sense of humour - lighten up a bit
  11. If itโ€™s forwards that canโ€™t kick straight or consistently impact on the scoreboard we have a few to loan out
  12. Crape paper body
  13. Actually, he always gets too close to the man on the mark and kicks the ball too high He is still a work in progress and may be a decent player in years to come but he is nowhere near ready for AFL football this year IMHO
  14. So very harsh on Fritsch - arguably one of, if not, the most predictably good forwards in the last few seasons
  15. Impressive from Caleb Windsor and Nick Larkey ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  16. If you look at the form line of these two teams over the last couple of rounds we lose this game comfortably - the odds for a Norf win are so so generous Time to see if our club has any ticket left at all I have little confidence sadly
  17. He was sub and sadly got zero game time that day
  18. We probably need both to be fair Iโ€™d argue finding a big ruckman that can compete is way easier than finding a quality tall forward
  19. Didnโ€™t Max kick 5 goals in our final against Geelong ? I think that may have persuaded a few that Max could be our Paul Salmon - alas it was not to be
  20. They probably Fullarton could offer more but the lack of a genuine replacement or back up for Max is a very big fail in terms of list management at this stage
  21. All fair points but I always considered LJ as another midfielder His loss plus Brayshaw together with injury and poor form to others has decimated a once powerful midfield rotation IMHO
  22. My 2 cents Grundy and infact the swans generally are having a nice run of form. Are they good enough to win the cup ? Personally I have my doubts still I think they are a really solid well drilled and coached footy team Grundy has his limitations and canโ€™t jump, canโ€™t mark in contested situations and rarely if ever goals. He is good at scrapping and blocking and following up with contest when the ball is on the ground. However he is pretty slow and his disposal skills are just ok Itโ€™s a shame that things didnโ€™t work out at MFC with Brodie but we lost so much more losing LJ than Grundy make no mistake We do need a genuine back up for Max but that doesnโ€™t need to be a 2x AA it needs to be someone physically capable of a strong contest against AFL quality rucks - I think thatโ€™s one of our big weaknesses atm
  23. I thought Johnson might be good too at one point - however his performances recently have been really poor and the fact he struggles to make the scumbags forward line without their regular marking forwards tells you plenty about how he is now seen internally
  24. If you consider the players that started our comeback in the 21 GF quite a few are either no longer there (LJ , Harmes) injured (Petracca, Lever , Viney?) terribly out of form (Oliver), early retirement (Brayshaw) or simply a few years older and not at their peak Its a significant shift and one that I think people overlook Take Brayshaw, Jackson, Petracca, Oliver and Lever out of the 2021 GF team and Iโ€™m 100% sure we donโ€™t win ๐Ÿ†
  25. The scum again by one point how utterly disgusting
