West coast is a concern but the Blues are a massive concern. Without Thirnton for 6 weeks their backline is weakened even further. As last year proved, if they get to round 12 with less than 5 wins you can put your money on them not winning another game for the year and wrapping up Natinui. Im really concerned.

Thanks for a brutally honest match report, I dont think ive seen the club in worse shape going into a season. There is no way we can turn it around now, there are too many issues which require long term solutions. How does every player on a list have such terrible skills? How the hell Miller, Green, yze, C Johnson kept a spot on the list is beyong me and very infuriating. I cant believe we wasted to 15 picks on bell and Dunn.

Im also worried about the off field repercussions of the season we are about to have.... It is clear that more players should have gone at the end of last year, we are just dragging out the rebuilding process now.

its fair to say we are in huge huge trouble this year. This consistent pattern of falling away after quarter time is very concerning. Practice game or not, its unacceptable. Baileys reaction to the loss last week shows he was expecting a lot more, so this is not part of his "master plan".
