Is the Ginnivan nomination some sort of 'peace offering' or consolation!!😐
-
That was fine when MFC members were locked out of SA and WA due to covid. Presumably the non-member extras would still buy tickets at 2.00pm in the General Allocation rather than be allowed tickets in the 10.00 am slot advertised as 'Member Pre-Sale', so it shouldn't affect attendances. Maybe they should do what Collingwood did and have the 10.00 time for P1 members then 10.30 for other members. General Allocation later in the day What we have is just not fair.
-
I would say not.
-
Did you eventually get through on the laptop?
-
Anyone else find that it takes forever to get through on a laptop but reasonably quickly on a mobile device? Can't understand why...
-
M15 is ground level. Is that your question? I think level 4 is Q
-
It is toward the back but you will be under cover (the 'drip line' is Row Y) and protected from the wind. Far better than the exposed P and Q.
-
Agree. It is not the members fault at all. Good luck to your mate as that is what the rules allow. The club/AFL could have a smaller non-member allowance like the 2018 Geelong game. I would feel ok if it was just one or two extras but 10 is ridiculous. Let the non-members wait till the 'General Allocation' opens in a few hours. We should email the club and let them know our discontent. The folks in membership work hard and don't set the rules so I will play nice in the wording. But I'm Not Happy, Jan!!

If people want 10 tickets for one membership they should have to wait until the 'General Public' allocation opens. In the morning it should be members only!! I only wanted a ticket for 2 Redlegs members which eventually I did get but no where near where I would have liked. Very annoying if they have gone to non-members. God help us if we meet Coll or Rich in a final. If that happens I'll get up with the birds and walk to the local Newsagent who is also a Ticketek outlet.

So frustrating! Club's 'Finals Hub' says to get out and support players at training. So I emailed them and asked when and where training would be held. This was the response: Thank you for your email. Further information will be posted on the finals hub once available. We cannot provide any details at this stage. We look forward to seeing you cheer on the red and blue!' The Finals Hub page says: Information on Open Training sessions will be available in the coming days. Why encourage us to go to training then not tell us where it is. @kev martinThanks for going and I look forward to your reports.

Very confusing, indeed. Going on at 9.50 may not help as Ticketek cuts you out after 10 minutes so it leaves little time to do the transaction. The countdown clock is on the top right of the Ticketek page. Not sure when Ticketek starts queuing or what happens if people log on before 10.00 This won't be a sell out and not all the good seats will go straight away.

Demonstone's Tiresome & Torturous Tuesday Timewaster
Lucifers Hero replied to Demonstone's topic in Melbourne Demons
A slight preference for a weekday, thank you. But happy to go with what others would like, just a heads up on when it will appear is enough for me. -
They are different issues to what I was responding to ie the concern that Geelong had double up games vs North and Eagles thus putting us at a disadvantage. Our draw featured double up games with similar 2021 ladder placings: Coll and Freo. The 2022 draw for the teams played looked quite even when it was done in late 2021. Like us Geelong had double up games vs Port and Bulldogs. Our 5th double up game was Lions and Geelong's was St Kilda. So from the teams selected to play this year it looked quite similar. Having said that, yes I agree there are so many anomalies which give various teams advantages and others disadvantages.

Yes they can. Hopefully they just load up the cheap seats!
-
The Dees vs Syd game is still saying 10.00 AM to 2.00 PM for MFC Club members. See below. Maybe you were looking at the Cats vs Pies game?

From The Age: "Sources said Melbourne assistant coach Adem Yze was slightly ahead in the Giants thinking until final presentations last week, when Kingsley turned their heads with an impressive final display. A Giants source said Kingsley continued to impress them more each time they met with him". adam-kingsley-appointed-the-new-gws-coach

I asked the club that question today. Yes, you can. No they do not have to be members. This earlier post might be useful when the question was for 7 non-members.

Demonstone's Tiresome & Torturous Tuesday Timewaster
Lucifers Hero replied to Demonstone's topic in Melbourne Demons
@Demonstone, two weeks between games so is it time for another brain teaser? Special request: give us some advance notice of when it goes up so I can make sure I get to see it. TIA. -
I thought that also. They have Carcella there, Ess premiership player and highly touted at Geelong and Richmond.
-
They are different. Login to your account on right hand side of the mfc website https://membership.melbournefc.com.au/?utm_source=mfc_website&utm_medium=navigation&utm_campaign=membership22 and you will see the 12 digit barcode number.
-
The 12 digit number in the email.
-
In 2018 for the Geelong game we could get 2 tickets per membership barcode. The story was they won't travel to the G/Marvel at night. Given they have chosen their QF to be Sat afternoon there may be some truth in that story.
-
All set, then?
-
Yes, you can. But I'm not sure if you can just select 8 tickets (and you receive all the digital tickets on your phone) or whether Ticketek will ask for their names and phone numbers and they get the sms with their individual digital ticket. So have their info ready just in case. Tip: Type all the info into a Word document, save it thenjust copy/paste the info into Ticketek as needed. It will save a lot of time. Ticketek allows only 10 minutes to compete the transaction right through to payment. It is worth while logging into Ticketek in advance and checking your details and cr card info are up to date.
-
Ok, I get what is happening. That is the email address the club used to send the emails as that is where our membership details are help. The ticketing info is in the body of the email. What do you see in the body of the email? Email sent by Melbourne Football Club
