As the lead ruckman Max can read the play and In an instant re-position himself anywhere on the field. No second thoughts required. No instructions to give anyone. He just goes. He can't do that when Grundy plays as he is 'stuck' in the fwd 50. He wouldn't assert his authority over a rightly, highly respected Grundy and charge up the field to where he thinks he is needed. Nor would he abandon the role he has in the F50 at that moment. On a practical level Grundy can't mark which neutralises our strategy coming out of the D50 and it limits his contribution in the F50. imv Grundy doesn't play, injuries aside.

Yes, however it meant any supposed priority access went out the window when non-members could get tickets ahead of any member let alone premium members.

Hi Andie, I'm great thanks. Hope you are also. I bought extra memberships this year so all up I have 6 barcodes so thanks for the offer. I often think of your nephew and how happy he was to go to the 2021 GF. It was a pleasure to help him get there. Wish him well for me.

Yes, they will need to get barcodes from their mfc accounts. The process I described works as that is how I got mine as I haven't received an email yet either.

It isn't obvious in the Ticketek website but the barcodes must be on separate lines with no commas. The easiest thing to do is have them in a document, (triple check them🙂) and copy/paste into Ticketek. This will save time and you know they are correct.

Just go to the mfc website, click on the 'membership' tab then login (the long is to the tickemaster website). The barcodes appear straight away or will be in the 'membership details' tab.

Points against: North 71 pts Carlton 60 pts (lost due to dodgy umpiring) Hawks: 60 pts Sydney: 56 pts Coll defence has been leaking like a sieve even when they had Moor and Murphy in. Pts against for the last month: 105 (loss to Hawks), 101 (win on Geelong), 124 (loss) to Lions. The last game vs Ess doesn't count. Oliver and Fritsch will get better. Petracca will continue his last quarter rampages of the last 6 weeks. He has that determined look he had in the 2021 GF when he went wild... We are fitter Our system is a proven GF winner In 2021 Goodwin and our leaders had a steely look about them. They have it again. There is a determination there that will take our beloved Dees a long way. All the way!!! They are a one trick pony!!

Yes, they often play finals vs interstate teams at KP. One of the reasons they often progress deep into the finals. I'm surprised the Saints/GWS game isn't at Marvel. Not sure they will get more than 45,000 at the G. The will be giving tickets away...

Many Coll players were there for the 2018 GF. They will be fired up if they make the GF...make amends for that loss from that freak goal... ...the 'colliwobbles' got them again!! 😉

Quoted to emphasise the point. Last year I found theTablet was faster than the laptop every time even tho I logged in with the laptop first. Guess there isn't much point even logging in before 10.00.

At the time I wrote I thought the Saints/GWS game would be at Marvel which is a Ticketmaster venue. It makes more sense to have that game at Marvel: low membership club playing a club with no members!! But for some reason the AFL has decided it is at the G...

iirc that 2 hour window was prior to tickets being sold to non-members or to the public. Even that was a disaster last year as any member could purchase 10 tickets on one membership even though those people weren't members.

Priority access for these memberships simply means BEFORE NON MEMBERS.

While Ticketek nominally assign Bays for the two clubs I don't think it is sophisticated enough to ensure the numbers are 50/50. My impression last year was first in, best dressed. Regarding the Ticketek 'premium' member option the computer didn't always deliver premium seats nor priority access. The seat allocation seemed to be on price category rather than membership status. Anyone could choose the highest priced tickets. Generally, the computer seemed to allocate tickets (by price category) in a Bay until it was full then allocated tickets in the next available Bay. Sometimes there were Bays with fans from both clubs but you don't know this until you get to the game. Once the MCC, AFL and other group's seats are considered the allocation for club members will be relatively small. Hopefully the tickets for Carlton/Sydney go on sale on the Wednesday to avoid a total meltdown. The other games' tickets will be sold by Ticketmaster. @Fear the beard will probably know more.

As a B rookie he should be. Not sure where 'The Age' sourced its info or how accurate it is. Even tho' I changed Schache to be OOC this year I'm not sure that is correct as there was info during the year that it was 2024. 2024 makes more sense as it is unlikely he would have come across for just one year but we will see soon.

I reckon if we play Lions in a QF at the Gabba we win! We have an excellent record there. The only reason we lost in round 2 is because May didn't play and Gawn went down in the first 5 minutes and we didn't adjust fast enough. Mcvee was in his second game and Petty had a shocker. Lever was a loner ranger down back. Today's game showed how flaky they are at the Gabba!
