That is very kind. LOL - you may have just saved The Reverand's marriage as it seems he he had forgotten his wife!!
-
That is a tad harsh if I may say. There are all sorts of reasons why people may not be able to purchase a membership. As you can see from the posts a number of us have a membership that we can't use for this game so sharing with other fellow demons is goods.
-
Really? For the Hawks/Rich game it is one per member. Jointly they have about 170,000 members. So it depends on the demand. I think the club has done the right thing by members and fans to let them buy two per member/barcode for this final.

Page or pm Dee-licious (see above post). He may be able to help out.

The club would have been looking/talking to Gaff for the past year. But now, I would say the development of Harmes and Brayshaw thave reduced our need for Gaff, especially if we had to break the bank to get him. Use the money to keep the talent we have which still has so much upside.

Two as per club website Edit: If you want all the details go to this Thread. Discussion for Week 1 tickets starts on page 3.

Goodwin just said on OTC that Jesse isn't going anywhere. 'He is Melbourne through and through.' There were no weasel words around it. He was very clear and definitive. Jesse stays!

I do. I can pm it to you. Just confirm that you would like it. You can buy 2 tickets on the one barcode. It is free for you - happy to help some fellow demons ? Cheers

I am almost positive that the 2 per membership are two tickets in the price category you chose. Thanks to @david_neitz_is_my_dadfor the image.
-
The number is unique but it is the same as the number on a membership card which appears just above the barcode on the back of the card. As an aside, for those planning to buy tickets on line it is worth setting up an account on the Ticketek website beforehand to save time when trying to purchase.

Is this the secret to Harmes' recent success: “...If I start on someone — [Josh] Kennedy or [Joel] Selwood or those types — they usually lead me to the ball, and once I’m around the ball I’m usually pretty good at winning the ball.” https://www.foxsports.com.au/afl/afl-2018-james-harmes-lifts-the-lid-on-the-email-that-set-the-tone-for-melbourne/news-story/c9d87c489445df79dcbd8ff942601927 Harmes seems so much stronger this year. He has developed a really solid build and can shrug off just about anyone. A Dusty Martin in the making, sort of. Love that he is a life long Demon supporter and now wearing the red and blue in finals. He has come a very long way since being rookied!

I just called the Ticketek in Hampton (Bayside) and they will be selling finals tickets. He said they give out 'queue' tickets for people who arrive early and ticket sales start at 9.00. This might differ from agency to agency so you may like to call your local. List of agencies: https://premier.ticketek.com.au/content/outlets/agencies_vic.aspx

I listen to Triple M just for the Dees games so I can listen to Paul Roos talk about us - he is always pumping our tyres but also gives good insight when things aren't working! And, if I'm watching at home I mute the TV volume. So much better than listening to the Ch 7 fanboys-of-the-opposing-team.
-
He received a much deserved life ban from DL

Harmes is acting out: 'My Heart beats true, for the red and the blue'. What a dream come true for Harmes: Barracked for the Dees as a kid. Drafted as a rookie. Earnt a permanent spot on the seniors list. Now playing for his beloved Demons in a final.

Anyone else notice Max's new hitout technique in the last few weeks? He is hitting the ball really wide over the top of the clearance pack where a demon midfielder is waiting to whisk it away. This is really clever as 1) it is very hard for opp to counter as they expect Max to drop it in/near the centre square. 2) it makes up for our lack of leg speed on the outside. Hawks and Syd neutralised Max by roving to his hitouts. The Pies neutralised Max by their midfielders being faster than ours. This new 'Hit the Ball Over The Top' technique will render both op strategies less effective. He doesn't do it all the time so there is a surprise element when he does. But our mid-fielder waiting to receive outside of the pack knows ? This has enabled us to modify the game plan and not have a player or two coming off the back of the square.

You choose the seat you want when you buy the tickets. Club will send details on how to get tickets so keep an eye on your email inbox! See my post #38 just above yours for more info. Great to have another female posting - there are precious few! ?

Comments from the Rooty Hill End (GWS fan forum)
Lucifers Hero replied to Cards13's topic in Melbourne Demons
A friend was listening to the game on 3AW. When GWS kicked their first goal and their was no reaction at the G, 3AW played 'The Sounds of Silence'. LOL! -
I would say Jordan Lewis given he sent the team an email last week to cool their jets. He is coaching them on how to win in September!
-
This will help answer that question. http://www.afl.com.au/tickets/seat-pricing-guide On another note - I believe the club will send members an email with ticketing info. Extract from club correspondence: We will be sending an email to members with their barcodes and full details about how to purchase finals tickets on Sunday. The barcode is different to the member number, it is on the back of the card but we will confirm it via email as well.

If I've read the schedule correctly and if we keep winning the Road to the Cup looks like this: Week 1 -vs Geelong (MCG) Week 2 - Loser of Hawks/Rich (MCG) Week 3 (Prelim) - Winner of Week 1 - Pies/WCE (MCG/OO) Week 4 (GF) - Whoever is still standing from: GWS/Syd/Haw/Rich (MCG) Hate to say it but the Pies winning next week will be good for us as we won't need to go interstate. If we get to the Prelim I reckon we can account for either WCE/Coll.

Just saw this headline on HS website: Lewis email sets teammates straight. Seems to relate to 'celebrating too hard'. Can anyone get around the paywall and give a bit more info. Thanks. Lewis is a seasoned finals campaigner showing great leadership with that email. Finals is what we recruited him for and he has played two of his best games for us, in the last few weeks. Am rapt he is 'holding our hand' over the next month. Keep the kids calm and focused ?

Based on this poll, reckon we can officially call the season a success! BTW folks, not only did we make the finals we finished 5th @ end of H&A. Anything from now is icing on the cake. Based on the last 2 months there will be lots of icing!!
