I don't agree with all of his points but equalisation is a big problem and it's where the commission is not doing it's job. Mike "I'm out of the room" "integrity lol" "conflicted" Fitzpatrick has been a disaster. I am getting really annoyed by the AFL's latest buzz about a game day experience. Smoke and mirrors. They seem to be enamoured by the whole Port/ Adelaide oval thing and yeah it's really good...for now. Do they think it would be the same if for one it was still played out at football park...hint about playing at ANZ in Sydney v the SCG. ....but the big one. How would the Port game day experience be if they had only won 4 games this year on the back of 2 the year before etc. etc. To get a true game day experience, a good one at least for the members and supporters... you have to win games. All the dazzle, dazzle means s....if you can't win a game. Stop trying to please everyone, "Simon the likeable" Gil and make some tough decisions. Actually make any decision on your own without asking Eddie if it's ok. That would be a start.

Yep, Gunston is a HFF, Hale a forward pocket/ruck and Gibson a HBF who sometimes has to play tall. Shaw a HBF, Malceski a HBF, McGlin a HFF who recently has spent more mid time. It's not so clear cut 'poita', they haven't in a lot of cases had high draft picks to trade anyway and I don't think we will be giving away a first round pick on 'H' I trust Roos will get the mix right though, his predecessors certainly stuffed it up.

Because it doesn't work that way, he only has his service record at Adelaide. If he moves to another club he goes back to year one. ...but I do think you are right, the thread is pure fantasy.

I don't like the comments at all but...I have this nagging thing at the back of my mind with freedom of speech and peoples attitudes in the community. You may stop them from speaking but the attitudes/thinking (or lack of thought) is still there. Are we really covering up a far bigger problem? my answer would be yes. How do we deal with it? I have no idea. There are a lot of disaffected people in the community (in the world), it makes for a very unstable environment. Do we cover it up and act surprised when everything goes to s....

The only thing I know about Godwin apart from him being a very good player is that he has done the right things to become a senior coach. He could have stayed on at Adelaide but for the betterment of his career he left to get a broader understanding of the football world. Think Gia at the dogs who is staying, Bickley who stayed on in Adelaide. I would prefer someone who is driven enough to go out, put yourself on the line and gather the knowledge and experience necessary. No years in the media building a profile whilst losing touch with the game. Can he coach? I've got no idea but at least he has made the right moves to get the best from himself.

Yep, Roos said earlier on 360 that they had an informal coffee chat with Goodwin. So Caro was hardly breaking news or using her sources for that one. He also said they had spoken to a few people and the whole think would ramp up with formal presentations as the clubs got knocked out of the finals race. I would still have my money on Kirk at this stage.

I think some have been hearing what they want to hear. I think we need to be a bit more careful of believing one source from a poster here who is taken as gospel. So far on this issue he has done a complete about face and if Clarks manager is to be believed then the about face is not correct.

I'm not sure that he can go in the PSD, it might depend a lot on the settlement agreement with him and also the AFL's somewhat flexible rules.
