Scalping
I'm not sure this game actually comes under the anti scalping laws does it? I thought the law only effected the GF... and any other major event the govt. deemed fit to include. Isn't it the sometime anti scalping law, or the when we can be bothered gazetting it anti scalping law, or when there are enough votes in it anti scalping law, or the when I can't get a ticket anti scalping law.

McLardy: Dee-surgence started with Stynes
This is the big differences between the old admin and the new. PJ came in and put the team first. What is a club without a team? how do you survive without winning? You build the club around the team. Don's comments are delusional. The last piece my a....

...be interesting to see if Carro mentions anything tonight. Maybe a bit of stirring with the week off.

Gawn: Bernie Fueling Finals Fire
I think they are thinking a bit further ahead than us...now this is what I call going early. https://www.theage.com.au/sport/afl/defiant-cats-coach-chris-scott-declares-richmond-beatable-20180803-p4zvh4.html

McLardy: Dee-surgence started with Stynes
We saved the club...it was the supporters/fans in the end that made enough noise to be heard. The club was on it's knee's... Luckily for us, love him or hate him Andrew Demetriou listened. He got the right man for the job in PJ, a great get as it turned out. ...but make no mistake, the rebuild of this club started from the fans. There was no messiah, just a club in turmoil at the top and enough of us day to day supporters that still cared. Now as Simon said the other day it's ours to enjoy, so enjoy but remember. ...The Dee-surgence started with us. No one can take that away from us.

Sam Murray under ASADA Investigation
Not sure what you are on tonight 'Dee' but if you believe that one you believe in the tooth fairy.

Sam Murray under ASADA Investigation
Heard similar 'coach' but let me tell you it's not only Collingwood. I wish people would get off the Collingwood culture crusade and have a look at the big picture. There's pretty good representation across all clubs, except ours of course...

Adelaide are really keen to get this kid. How keen? Test them Carlton... If I were Carlton i would forget the priority pick and look to trade their pick one for the Crouch boys. Added to Cripps it would give them a quick bump.

Gawny on Game Day (2/9)
I've been beginning to think you can't get a decent pizza anywhere anymore. Thin base, gourmet, wood fired? All code words for rubbish... Seems everyone is cutting the inputs and increasing the price...

Would rather offer Bernie another year to be honest...

Open Training - Saturday, 1st September, 2018
The word is Dom is fit and ready to go and will play... If selected of course.

The Last Time they Met - E. J. Whitten Legends Game
Watched Storm tonight... Got beaten but rested a few in the lead up to finals. With Billy retiring at the end of the season I hope they can send him out with a much deserved premiership. Drinkwater came into to replace Billy tonight & it was a promising debut. They keep producing players. Sorry, sidetracked. Sport is a serious business, there's no skin in the game then there's no game. The legends game doesn't interest me in the slightest...

Malcolm Blight attacks the MVP Awards
Double devils advocate... Most coaches don't play a tag on Mitchell so you would think he mustn't be that dangerous/valuable. ...but the players still think he is.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Yes 'Mad' was thinking of him the other day but he is an SA boy for what that might matter. For some reason he has gone cold and struggling for a regular game. I would also be looking at some of the younger Tiger small forwards (not Lloyd) who are not getting a regular game.

Who do we realistically target for a trade?
Whilst we're talking unrealistic trades, I think Macrae would suit our needs perfectly.

Key tactical issues v Geelong
Not sure about stage fright 'Pennant'... I remember the team in '87 were on a roll & blitzed North in the first final. Lets hope we get more of the same this time round & then for the following 3 games.

Gerard Whately is a Moron
As do all clubs 'Bonkers'... It's the elephant in the room and the AFL don't know how to handle it.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
Adelaide camp... He clearly has inside info at the Crows.

If Clarry CHOO CHOO DOESNT make AA I will..
Probably the vibe 'layzie', it just felt right to me. A great champion honoured, and he is a champion of the game a term that shouldn't be used lightly. I get why others don't like it but I do.

Farewell Jesse Hogan
A lot will depend on how the AFL changes effect the game. If it's a lot more open then the 3 in the forward half are going to be a handful for opposition teams when they can't get numbers back.
-
Farewell Jesse Hogan
It brings into question how we played, how the mids used the ball. Not necessarily the forward structure. We are not a in a static environment, it's a young team growing and learning to play together. Imagine how good Hogan would be if we didn't keep bombing the ball in and lowered our eyes earlier in the season....

If Clarry CHOO CHOO DOESNT make AA I will..
Interesting how opinions vary but personally I loved Franklin's selection as Captain...

If Clarry CHOO CHOO DOESNT make AA I will..
If I had a choice of any player to augment our current list it would probably be one of these 2. Yeo is so adaptable, could play anywhere and do it well, strong in the contest and in the air. Macrae is the wingman we need. What the hell, lets get them both. Make it happen PJ before you hand over your desk...

Changes v Geelong - Elimination Final
When playing I used to say to my teammates, "you don't run on your hands"...it was back when we thought we were tough and it would need to be a pretty serious upper body injury to keep you out. Harmes & Oliver have both played within days of hand surgery, so who knows how that compares to this.' @Webber' our resident physio might have a bit more info. Apparently the big issue for Dom is the pain management side. Will be an interesting selection.

Changes v Geelong - Elimination Final
If they take Tyson in then it won't be a risk 'Red'... Different matter if he had a leg or shoulder problem but if the plate has done it's job then he will be 100%. If it effects his ball handling at all in training then he doesn't play. This one should be an easy yes or no unlike a bit of a dodgy hammy...
