Any info on this procedure @Webber

Forget about a couple of years ago 'Earl', there were a few geniuses on here wanting to write him off this year...
-
This is going to sound like BS from me. ...but I've been meaning to post for a few weeks now that I thought Clayton was not handling the ball as well this year. He's a very clean, one touch player but has not been as clean this season. ... and even though he made AA this season, his ball handling was better last year. That makes sense now, he hasn't been doing contact training for a while. ...the competition better watch out next year. Clarrie will rip it apart.
-
Mick Warner reporting 'Red'...so pretty reliable.
-
I don't know about conspiracy 'Travis' but I do know I enjoy any game he umpires less, whether we're in it or not. He makes the game less enjoyable to watch.
-
A bit like Weed talented. Give him some time 'jumbo'... He's got something to work with.
-
I think there are actually, but I will defer to the ones on here that are into the champion data stuff. You like making big statements old son, don't you? AA Rance comes to mind, seems to like to sook and whinge quite a bit.
-
Shai Bolton.... ...been saying this for a while, serious x-factor but has been passed over for Higgins. Worth a look.
-
Plus he doesn't get enough of the ball...

Casey Demons v Box Hill Hawks - VFL Grand Final
rjay replied to KC from Casey's topic in Melbourne Demons
Was always going to hurt them in the end. Going in with no ruck in the finals campaign was an impressive effort to get to the GF and nearly pull it off. Certainly need to start again with the big man stocks apart from Max of course. Looks like the club agree, picking up Bradtke and approaching Pruess... -
Mean spirited I know but I couldn't stand Jeremy Howe being a premiership player. Leaves a bad taste in my mouth the sooking he did about having to play back with us. Half hearted efforts were not appreciated by this supporter. He would be a very handy player for us now playing where Roos identified was his best spot...

Jordan Lewis is absolutely cooked, never pick him again
rjay replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Lewis won't play in a 5th 'norm'... If he is still getting a game in 2019 we are going nowhere. He's not going to get any better. Need to know when to fold 'em... -
For what it's worth I think West Coast will win... The only caveat I have is that Darling doesn't have another GF let down. They have no one to cover Kennedy.

Say what you want, I’m proud of this club this year.

GWS 5.4 9.7 15.10 19.11 (125) WEST COAST 3.0 4.2 5.2 9.4 (58) Last years semi result. Scoreline looks familiar.... Obviously it scarred the Eagles so badly they are in a GF next weekend... It 'aint necessary so Robbo -
It's nothing to do with the game plan and everything to do with the list profile.

...and then we would have been smacked next week instead. More likely in the prelim like today but maybe at the 'G' instead of Perth. I didn't want to post this after last weeks win as it would have been mean spirited (let everyone enjoy the win) but I honestly thought that was the end of our run for this year. Making finals and winning 2 was where we are at...and that's a good result. Of course I wasn't happy with how we lost today but... We've had a really good year with what is basically a very young inexperienced list. If they take the right message out of their experience in finals this year, pick up another couple of good players plus get Hogan and Lever back on the park then we are ready to have a run at it next year. -

rjay replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Really, so you think he showed the discipline expected of a leader in the first Q when the game was there to be won??? It's not about blame it's about being realistic now. Jordan doesn't have another year in him, he's got the most our of himself, he's got his 300 games and he's been an invaluable player to have around the club. ...but it's time to hang'em up. Yep, he was 'praha' but the end comes quickly. ...but those 2 teams were really just making up the numbers as unfortunately we got proven to be today. His lack of discipline was hard to take today, it's time to move on. -
Frost - We need May (or someone)

I would hope he does the right thing and retires now 'rp'...it's time. It's not just the poor game, it's the lack of discipline that I can't take from a senior player. It happens too often, he set a really poor tone in the first quarter when he should have been rallying the boys. ...as I say, I reckon he's been invaluable around the club for the couple of years we've had him but time is up now. -

Thanks for the couple of years mate... The experience you have brought to the club has been invaluable but now is the time. ...we need to move on and develop the list now. -
Not really 'Norm', the times he has been hard tagged this year he's really struggled. The problem is most coaches like Hardwick last night haven't given him the respect of playing a hard tag. No one should be getting 40+ touches in a prelim... If we make it Melcham wouldn't be the option, he's better suited to dealing with Howe...if not Harmes it's more likely to be ANB who has the running power to go with him & Harmes with Pendles.

Nup. We were also criticised for not having beaten anyone until recently but I always thought we were better than those results. They are a good team, you could see it if you really looked. Some peoples opinion was predicated on hatred of the black & white rather than a more objective analysis. They were very impressive against us earlier in the year & tonights game from them was a facsimile. Here's a prime example. There is no logical reason why Bucks can't take them to a flag.

The result didn't surprise me tonight. Despite denials by a few on here Collingwood are a good team and started to show it towards the end of last year. The Tiges have had a good run without a true forward structure and it caught them out. They're a good unit but if their champs don't fire they're in trouble. Reiwoldt was the only one to fire a shot tonight, the house of cards crumbled. There is a reason they went all out to get Lynch, it's the same reason we should keep Hogan. As much a the game changes, tall forwards who kick goals are worth their weight in gold. Always have been, always will be... Great to see Storm into another GF....

Match Preview and Team Selection - Preliminary Final
rjay replied to Demonland's topic in Melbourne Demons
If he doesn't get caught in one on ones with Kennedy in the air Frosty will be ok. Kennedy has the body and smarts to move him off the ball. On the lead, particularly with the leg injury I think Frost will have him covered and should also give us some rebound. Just don't want him body to body...
