Maybe like how we plan on doing handshake deals for GC and GWS to not bid, the Bulldogs are doing Handshake deals so that they do bid. It benefits the bulldogs more then any other team with them having 2 picks right after ours. They arnt happy with Libba at the moment, Libba for a 4th round pick and to bid on Viney is an example of what type of handshake could occur.

Eg - take him at 3 after securing picks 1 and 2 for trading off moloney and sylvia = Yes I will be happy or - take him at 3 after trading our pick 4 and 12 for Dawes = No i will not be happy

I just want Toumpas, Im worried we wont get him now with GWS finishing last and likely to take Whitfield. I think GC will opt for Toumpas with there 2nd pick. Toumpas, Viney and Vlastuin and pick 25 and il be a happy man. Toumpas, Wines, Vlastuin and Viney and ill be an even happier man.

Nahas would be a perfect small forward for us. Iv seen the guy change the flow of games on several occasions. Including against us.

If they want strauss and rivers then what can they give us? Their first round pick would be at about 10 wouldnt it? Unless Nahas, Deledio, Martin or Riewoldt are on the table I cant see much else that we would be interested in from them except maybe Grigg?

So your saying that a kid who hasn't even been drafted yet, will provide more culture then Jones and Magner? 2 players who pound it week in week out on the track and at games? And your saying that 'culture' is better then winning? Well how about the culture from winning every week at Casey? Hasn't seem to do a thing so far for the kids who play their every week. Look at the wonders it has done for Cook, who can barely make the team. Culture for you, winning for me. Im happy to agree to disagree on that. I say draft the best player available and instill the culture into them ourselves. End of the day its a what comes first scenario, the chicken or the egg.

I would swap Taggert with either Blease, Grundy or Toumpas their. I would also take McKenzie out of the middle as I think by having a tagger you are admitting defeat before the game even starts. Evans would fit in there nicely.
