WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JACK VINEY
olisik replied to einstein251's topic in Melbourne Demons
there goes that theory -
didnt i read somewhere that Moloney has only been at the dees 6 years? Which would not make him a RFA as it needs to be 8? I know I am wrong here somewhere but not sure where...
-
Monfries could flll a bit of a hole on our forward line i think. Not the best player but better then what we have down their.
-
Rewind to the future? oooookaay then..
-
hopefully their is a bidding war for him to his value goes up and better compensation for us. then he ends up at GWS and points yells at them all summer and makes Scully cry. Im in that camp

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - JACK VINEY
olisik replied to einstein251's topic in Melbourne Demons
We need a 1 KPP of our top 4. If Stringer is unlikely to slip to 13 then we should take Hogan instead of Martin. Is the minidraft done after the normal draft? If so it could be something like Option 1 3. Toumpas 4. MD 1 (Martin) 13. Stringer 26. Viney If Stringer dosn't last Option 2 3. Toumpas 4. MD1 (Hogan) 13. Kennedy/Garlett/Vlastuin 26. Viney -
Slap cook on this week and tell him if he dosnt kick 5 goals he ll be delisted, in fact say that to half the team
-
we should pick up this kid

AFL Draft & Trade Period Important Dates 2012
olisik replied to Whispering_Jack's topic in Melbourne Demons
No, no we dont... -
experienced players btter not be more B grade hard working mids. Iv said it once and i will say it again, I will have a fit if we give up draft picks or big coin for B grade midfielders who work hard.

MFC needs to TARGET INTERNATIONAL STUDENTS - These kids regularly spend half a grand a night when clubbing - Many of these kids have had there folks buy them an apartment in MELBOURNE so therefore they have high disposable income - Many of these kids choose to stay in MELBOURNE at the end of there studies and work here - Many of these kids have big families who they can also co-erce into supporting MELBOURNE - Many of these kids have rich influential parents in China - AFL is trying to expand to China - Easy access to the MCG - Large volume - Untapped Market Honestly why are we beating around the bush in Casey when their is ^^
-
By playing taggers such as this kid we are admitting defeat before the game even begins. We are automatically down 1 player in an 'attempt' to reduce them by 1 player. By playing him Us -1 player 100% of time opposition -1 player 50% of time (When mckenzie does a good job) Odds are against us by using him
-
For the record im not an advocate of taking either Martin or Kelly but if we have to take one we should take the one who was originally touted as the best 17yr old. Not some other kid coz he lives in vic and we wont have problems like go home factor ect. They are both stick skinny and i want neither , though if the club is foolish enough to trade away picks 3 and 4 then I would much prefer Martin.
-
LOL good post. Its the last time we ll probably hear from him for the year, he ll probably be off to a full moon party in Thailand to meet some ladies this time next week.
-
Not if GC bid we dont Has a double effect for GC to bid now. 1. to move their next pick up pecking order and 2. to stop GWS having both picks 3 and 4
-
Pretty sure that Natanui being a WA kid was a big factor in the decision.
-
Would also be a mistake to take this skinnier then morton kid Kelly over Martin when Martin is the one who has been hyped all year. If we take a skinny kid over a WA kid again I will hit the fan. Would be the 2008 draft all over again.
-
Doubt we'd give up both early picks. Might be a ploy re Viney. Id have a fit if it was anything more then both our compo picks (4 & 13). This is a superdraft and the dees are playing with fire and considering using one of our top picks on a kid skinnier then morton, you have to be kidding me.
-
This Josh Kelly kid looks like a stick, if he turns sideways we probably cant see him. Definite pick up for MFC
-
Wonder if he ll give the MFC a bake when we delist young Cale
-
Its bad coz they are stating the obvious?

Beams signs for 3 ... Cloke edges closer to Dees?
olisik replied to Range Rover's topic in Melbourne Demons
Or to quote from the blonde kid in fired up "You got to risk it to get the biscuit" Cheers Blonde Kid -
So some round 1 compensations picks could interfere with our pick 12/13?
