Worst umpiring performance of the year

I'll listen to Sen tonight and it'll be interesting to hear the press conference and even Finey -

I'm glad people are agreeing. I thought I was losing it. In terms of the worst, there was a game Fitzroy played in Adelaidemthat was truly bent IMO. -

Yeah, agreed. He does go over the top but I'm not sure this time. North were robbed tonight. TV commentators shite scared to say anything. -

Deeko, if they're going to pay em do so both ways. And it was very soft. It just felt like they were very eager to pick up WCE frees. -

Yeah, I've got no loyalty towards North but the more I watched the game the more [censored] off I was getting -

Among them, the umpire calls touched on a ball clearly not touched that is marked at full forward by Black of North. Kennedy gets a free when holding another player in the marking duel in the last quarter and a North player is grabbed without the ball right in front of the ump. -
I know it's not the Dees but I have just witnessed one of the more biased umpiring performances of all time. Talk about getting WCE home. Am I that wrong or were there a series of decisions that brought them back into the contest?

I don't quite get the venom towards Joe. At least he had a personality and a zest that has been missing badly.....and he saved the club.

My understanding is that Mark Neeld now intends to send out a correction to his earlier statement to the media- "we are not going to be the hardest team to play. We are, in fact, going to be the hardest team, ever, to watch. Ours will be a long running dynasty of truly unwatchable football." He added, "the team I've selected this week is very much in line with this philosophy"

The novelty line is very funny and yet true.

Thank you for not discussing the Melbourne Football Club.

Brilliant. -
Ok, I've taken a deep breath. No, a truly shite team.

What a balls up of a side. I cannot for the life of me understand playing Jamar ahead of Fitzpatrick and Nicholson and Mckenzie were truly horrible last week. Please don't tell me one of Blease or Taggart couldn't get a run. Who the flock are selecting these uneven travesties? Beyond being a truly shite team, we're also saying to young blokes doing well at Casey that we'll re pick older blokes who can no longer perform. Dismal.

Darby's, you need to ensure that those students who mock the Dees receive automatic fails. Conversely, those who follow the Dees can wag, smoke and fornicate on the school grounds and receive nothing less than a B+. That's step one.

I do agree re the decisions made after 186. When CS wriggled out of that one it did feel like the priorities were horribly out of wack.

And the bugler? Should we replace him with James Morrison? -
I do remember Slapshot. Perhaps these are who we need.

You may be right about boring. but I'd be right into some incredibly boring wins.

Harry Taylor out of contract.

He's a good player in a purple patch of form. He certainly wouldn't be in my top 10 wish list. Mids, mids, mids. -

He's gone. Thankfully the 'look at the players ' statement will finish him. If it doesn't we really are in a heap of poo -
Neeld Post Match - Platitudes and other nonsense talk

Please don't tell me he said that. That's the same approach he took at the start and why he never had the players buy in. There has always been a lot of 'they' statements. I picked that up very early on ( not alone in picking it mind you) and never liked it. If the boys win its 'we'. Lose and it's 'they'. I have waxed and waned regarding this bloke but I think his ego is ahead of his capacity to do the job. One of those blokes who probably interviews well. Cannot now wait to see the back of this overly intense buffoon.
