Off to the game in half an hour. As usual this season, will take to looking at the games of our younger guys. In particular, I'm convinced Michael Evans is a goer and it would be great to see Toumpas perform now that the spotlight is off him a little .

Big Red, I am one who has joked about skinny kids. However, SA's James Aish looks one hell of a prospect IMO based on reports from the Championships. And I agree, mids must be our target.

I am not a fan of Mark Neeld but, yes, there are some excuses for his poor record ( not completely, but some) - poor administration over a sustained period, poor recruitment and a philosophy that said it was ok to lose games for long term gain. I think you're being a touch over the top IMO.

I also suspect one of the clubs out West are doing a hush job similar to the Jack Darling and Dean Cox episodes with Blake Acres. By all accounts ahead of Dom Sheeds and Jack Billing but won't play the under 18 champs because of a shoulder. Should be looked at IMO

The thing I'm looking for most from a President besides the obligatory experience and nous is passion for the club to succeed.

The one thing I'll say about the Scott brothers is that they're happy winners and sore losers. Don't mind blokes being angry about defeat ( a bit more from MFC would be great) but they are always up for a sulk IMO.

Well, if that's the case I'm in. But we'll have to ween ourselves of skinny, pale runts slowly. I suggest we pick an out and out albino in the third round.
