Next you'll be telling me that Bernard's not made of the right stuff. I wonder if Cale would have been a good tennis player.

I don't know Biffen. You cannot go past some of the brilliant humour of those wacky Eastern Europeans. And don't tell me that you don't get as excited as me to see the brilliant musical artist Redfoo shuffling outside Rod Laver Arena whilst his girlfriend, the wacky, zany Victoria Azarenka calls mysterious injury time outs. Very disappointed.

Sat, without being rude, what are you talking about?

He has indicated to the school board that Carey will be the toughest school to play whether that be football or public speaking.

WELCOME TO THE MELBOURNE FOOTBALL CLUB - BILLY STRETCH
Return to Glory replied to e25's topic in Melbourne Demons
Billy still has a considerable way to go. 12 months ago the chat was that he may be able to make it at Senior level but that he was a fair way off the pace. I have followed his progress relatively closely and he is, of course, a fair bet to be drafted by us. However, Billy is not a first round option in any way, shape or form. MFC I'm sure would know this. -

I hope you are right. You can understand though, if there are those of us who remain doubtful. -

Absolute guess Cards, but based on the inaction of the past 6 months. I certainly want to be wrong but as I mentioned earlier there is a feel that they are being protected. -

In relation to Dom Tyson, he spoke to a mate of mine (I know that already makes the story dodgy) and indicated that he was still a little tentative about his leg but was hoping that he would make inroads as the season progressed. -

Bombers are about to be hit by the biggest wet lettuce of all time. -
Great post. I have always loved my footy but by the end of last year it was beginning to bore the living fack out of me. The competition is increasingly uneven, I don't give a shite if Buddy is having a drink on a boat and there are way too many latte obsessed wankers who think that by simply playing dream team they are no longer smug metrosexual try hards

Ah yes, the Bolt report. Turn it on and double the audience.

Bombers scandal: charged, <redacted> and <infracted>
Return to Glory replied to Jonesbag's topic in Melbourne Demons
I think that's the main point. Almost a year and except for not letting them play a final series they were I'll equipped to play, nothing of a real punitive nature has occurred. Oh,I forgot. Hird has been paid 1 million bucks up front to do nothing. He can also attend some conferences for his betterment. Wow, he's certainly been taught a lesson. Oversee a systematic program of illegal doping, earn some cash for zilch and come back for finals. In the cold light of day, the AFL has been bent over whilst Andy D looks to protect his own reputation IMO. -

Gillon is way too much of a preppy [censored] to be up for a battle imo -

What a [censored] weak decision. So Hird effectively wins. -

You have to wonder why WorkSafe has not moved on this at all. Scared shitless to rock the boat rings true -
Essendon set to face 'several' charges from ASADA, says John Fahey An interesting read. Rightly questions Work Safe Victoria
-
I despise Essendon and welcome them getting a whack. However, much of this now appears to be predominantly about the selling of newspapers and QC'S getting a piece of the pie. Beyond this, surely it will eventually disengage rank and file supporters. The reporting of the last few seasons has shifted away from the game itself and almost every media outlet focuses on and contributes to an endless supply of off field drama. It's not where the game should be headed but you can lay London to a brick that as soon as the drugs saga ends both News Ltd and Fairfax will fill the vacuum with a 'huge' issue.

I think your comments will split opinion though.

Good to see your humour remains appealing and shows no signs of slipping.i apologize in advance.

Sorry all, I didn't see Michie in the write up. Did he train? Light work? -
This really does have a touch of the Allen Stanford's about it. I also can't help but think that Jack Watts is behind it all.
-
Name 3 players you are keen to see in 2014 and why
Return to Glory replied to DeeSpencer's topic in Melbourne Demons
Viv Michie is an intriguing proposition for mine. His highlights look terrific so let's see if he can come back from injury and effectively start his career. Fitzpatrick could be a dominant mobile forward for us and provide a second, third option that teams struggle to counter. Jack Viney - would love for,him to take another step such as Liberatore has at the Bulldogs.
