  1. Not from Rd 2 they don’t
  2. Very good post, not compiled out of emotion. Heat will increase if things don’t improve but the biggest lesson I hope that is taken on, is to have faith in the change in style they are trying to implement
  3. Reckon we saw more last week in terms of stretching the ground and better delivery inside f50, today was a big step back to old habits of just bombing it in. Really lacked Windsor and his run in transition, large parts of that 3rd quarter where we transitioned quickly but turned it over or allowed them to get numbers back by handballing to ground or just not hitting the teammate in the open
  4. 6. Chandler 5. Oliver 4. Lindsay 3. Petty 2. Salem 1. struggling -Turner
  5. On occasion but Viney just bombs it instantly
  6. Yes we can compete, did you watch last week, did we compete yes. Gawn was BOG last week Losing and shocking performances happen. Seen it before and seen it turn.
  7. Petty had some poor moments in the last quarter but over the course of the game he was okay on Larkey
  8. Don’t think it was just the forward line today, yep they were poor but the bombing into F50 where they had the extra number was dumb, Gawn and the midfield overall got absolutely pantsed
  9. You actually need to have a look at yourself absolutely shizen post, but the way you carried on the game day thread should have picked this. Shocking loss yes absolutely unacceptable by the players but Sack the coach and Retire Gawn in Rd 2 FFS
  10. Midfield absolutely pantsed today, poor stoppage set up, need to honey pot then getting burnt in transition. Gawn well beaten Viney 3 times blazed into f50 straight down Combens throat, handballs not hitting targets, kicking over teammates in the open. If you want to be a laughing stock you sack the coach in Rd 2 Stay strong regroup and back your players, to turn the basics around
  11. Petty spent most of the day on Larkey
  12. Yes, that’s correct, didn’t think it was appropriate to name him
  13. Yes it was several times. we put the red and blue blinkers on and consider ourselves to be the victims. Do you remember Didaks indiscretion with the OMCG member after a night out, well a Dee’s player was also with them.
  14. It requires a lot of work Red and players having the confidence to hit the kick and teammates as soon as they identify they are open. Doubt and hesitation causes 50/50 contests and turnovers. Once teams get speed on the ball and the method is ingrained into the players the system works well and the team suddenly looks to have pace. Just want us to stick with the method and have faith as With Mcvee, Kossie and Windsor thrown into the mix I believe we can be very dangerous on the counter and with our ball movement to get 1 v1s inside our F50
  15. You must be new here, if you can find a positive post from Poita, you will be lucky
  16. JVR - Taylor no influence
  17. Don’t think so, has kids settled in school in Perth, his son will be in Yr 12 next year
  18. It doesn’t work that way anymore otherwise you isolate the poor match ups via leg speed or height/weight. Its why they defend to impact the next layer not just their direct opponent. Dont think this doesn’t happen several times during a game. Its just amplified in the last few minutes
  19. Yep maybe in hindsight but in modern footy, they set up in layers and I guess Clarry pushes up to lock it in but it doesn’t happen. All in all though good performance and it’s these small margins that make such a difference
  20. There was still never an opportunity to punch the footy at any stage, Sparrow is covering off the kick over the top of one of our players (possibly Fritsch) on the 50m arc members side wing, which is where the kicker heads, he’s also within striking distance of Kelly if the kicker try’s to hit Kelly with a clean kick he can press up and stand the mark to force Kelly to step back and allow players to move up into position which we did well for most of the day., if you rewatch the game you will see this continuously. We have actually covered off quite well but the scrubbed kick came off and Sparrow is boundary side. Henderson may have been better served to give away a professional free and take Callaghan’s legs out but it is what it is
  21. At what point in the play from the kick out did the opportunity arise for anyone to spoil let alone punch it over the fence. At least watch the vision before commenting
  22. 6. Gawn 5. Lever 4.Trac 3. Bowey 2. Lindsay 1. Tmac Honourable mention to Sparrow, Windsor and Marsh
  23. We got close to breaking the game open a couple of times and they did what good sides do, just hung in with opportunistic goals, to remain within striking distance. Do agree playing last week helped them a little
  24. Asking a serious question, did it go as they planned. I think once the scrubbed the first kick, which ended up with Kelly we pressed up a little once it didn’t hit him on the chest. We committed numbers into the corridor and can’t recall exactly who it was got a handball to the outside
  25. We tried, Lever went inboard to Salem, but the ump called not 15, probably consistent with how they are umpiring this year
