  1. I’m not going to derail a game day thread. The rule is plain for all if you elect to bump and hit the head you will be suspended. Whether I agree with the length of the suspension or not, is irrelevant. He was always missing today minimum with that bump and he likely So we’ll agree to disagree cost us 4 points
  2. Did he elect to bump yes - that’s actually the end of it Did he hit him high - yes Don’t bump and expect sympathy when you hit them high and had the option of going low at the footy
  3. I’ll counter that with our goals from forward pressure do not occur if Fritsch is there. GWS got a goal from rebound today when Fritsch is running at a lose ball, granted he is further away than his opponent but they get there the same time. Fritsch takes neither ball or body in the contest, which is a non negotiable. He put out a token arm but it’s not enough and it’s those small things that hurt
  4. No, the bump was a dumb act and he needs to own it. There was zero need for it at the time and the start of our season was impacted by it
  5. 2 through injuries and 1 through a dumb act on ground and not for the first time. He needs to own that because he would have been a point of difference today
  6. That was a good effort, disciplined the way we set up players in sync preventing there run for most of the day. Could have gone either way but plenty of positives other then 4 points lost taken from today. Some should look for positives because plenty of the usual suspects nothing but negativity on the game day thread FFS Oh Bowey only 2 tackles - he was very good all day Rooey running under the footy- Sam Taylor had zero impact and was unable to create rebound because of this. On to next week
  7. Apologies thought you were having a go at him. He is very much holding Taylor to account every time the ball comes in high
  8. I seen a player wearing #2 do that many times during my childhood in the 80’s. If Windsor is half as good, wow
  9. Have you noticed the best defender in the AFL, there’s a reason
  10. That and along with the slower ball movement is being done to limit their slingshot from interceptions
  11. Are you expecting deelanders to look at the positives.
  12. Concerned about being top heavy, however assume we will run with a mid fwd rotation along with Henderson inside our F50 and someone is getting a defensive forward role on Taylor. To win this we need to Win the midfield battle Break even at least in the ground ball game inside our F50 Limit their defensive run and rebound Lets go Dees
  13. He trained and did match sim since Freo game moving freely I believe.
  14. Brandon is not an FS, he’s the nephew of Craig
  15. Yes I think it will to
  16. He’s an absolute gun, who like Dusty is learning about the requirements to reach his ceiling. Its been rumoured he doesn’t like training but having spoken to some at West Coast he’s a very good trainer who works hard but just needs and wants to learn more about the preparation side of things
  17. Yes between Kossie and Dogga
  18. What are you talking about it’s not his call. It is his call, with regard to what he does and doesn’t follow. I’m not talking about it not being his call to move to WA for family reasons. He’s playing at Melbourne this year, he has signed a contract and if he wishes to move to WA at the end of the season, for whatever reason the club will deal with it and work for the best outcome. In the meantime show some respect to the club and its supporters. I’m not worried if he goes, players move all the time and nobody is bigger then the club. If West Coast offers us the best deal to bad that he wants to go to Freo.
  19. It’s embarrassing for him as a player/team mate. Unless the group is privy to a standing joke where Kossie is playing games with the supporters in the west, you’re either all in for the year or you’re not, if you want to move at the end of the season that’s fine but until then all chips in for our cause in 2025, with no distractions.
  20. Play Tom Campbell and Max, FCS yes we’re coming up against one of the most mobile teams in the competition let’s try and increase the lack of mobility and wonder why they walk it out of our F50 at a rate of knots
  21. My Aunt in Dublin became a grandmother at 32 and a great grandmother at 50
  22. Agree with a lot of this Dazzle, one query whilst Kossie is out do we play Petracca 65/70% forward and bring Petty back in down back for Adams B. Lever May Howes F. Windsor Petty Salem C. Billings Viney Lindsay HF. Sparrow JVR Sharp F. Fritsch AJ Trac R. Gawn, Oliver, Rivers I/C. Bowey, Langdon, Turner, Woewodin Bowey-defensive rotation Langdon mid rotation Turner tall rotation throwing AJ in the ruck and resting Gawn Woewodin wing rotation Sub: Langford/Henderson
  23. One thing teams will do homework on with some of our CBD work is Gawn stepping over the line and left hand tapping to 3o’clock position with sweeper running onto ground ball, ok when it works but leaves us very vulnerable out the front
  24. Whatever happens from here midfield stoppage work, Oliver’s work rate, Max being Max, glimpses of some dash off half back, more forward handball, tackling pressure against a side I rate a lot more than others on here are positives
  25. Johnson’s follow up effort at ground level pleasing there with Viney results in Fritsch goal
