2024 TELSTRA AFL DRAFT COMBINE
He has huge upside, very good inside mid and elite endurance. Courage can not be questioned and played key position for most of his junior career at community and PSA level. Kicking is his weakness but certainly worth a look for any club with a late pick in the ND or even as a rookie. He’s an absolute beast was BOG in the WAFL colts GF right up until the last 15 minutes.

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
It’s not just MFCSS, it’s a real possibility. However if the club believes he’s the one at that pick then they back themselves to create the environment and put things in place where he wants to stay. He played as an underager in 23 so has that connection with Kolt and Kentfield from state squad

2024 AFL National Draft prospects: The next batch
Yep Clang looks older than he is. Absolute ripper who likes to run hard from defence to create options.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Yes they are reliable traits to look for, a lot of clubs overlooked Simon Black because he lacked pace, but what they didn’t take into account was he was a very good 400m runner with great endurance and by all accounts a very good character.

KOZZY A DEMON FOR LIFE!!!
As Paul Connors said Melbourne were never giving up a top 5 pick.

2024 Phantom Drafts
Within reason in regard to Roos comments, 2km time and character are great but you still need some physical traits and footy ability. There’s plenty of players who are of fine character and run elite times but just undersized and that’s a big reason they remain at state league, country footy level. Hamish Davis is of excellent character and ran top 5 in the 2km, but he isn’t a top 10 pick

Delistings 2024
It’s nothing to do with the AFL, in competition test is a WADA matter

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Yes we seem to be a club who backs ourselves. Things can always change once you get settled into an environment and the day to day training and with a new group. Just passing on what I have heard

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
Fairly big risk, which I have heard from a few

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
+1

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
I’m not upset at taking Langford
-
Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
I’d probably take Langford, but it’s marginal. And I also like Draper
-
Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
In that scenario I’d take Draper at 5
-
Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Yes I think we will if either of Lalor or Langford are there. Don’t get me wrong I do rate Smith, I just have the other 2 ahead
-
Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
I expect us to have the choice between Lalor and Langford who I have ahead of Smith. Richmond will IMO take one of those 2 at 1 and I expect it to be Lalor. They get the big bodied mid and IMO will take Smith at 6 who compliments the big body. They may take him at 1 if they really want Smith, but I think they take Lalor

Welcome to Demonland: Pick 5
Taking into account Langfords ability to play forward, whilst they are both big mid types I wouldn’t say no to both. Windsor potentially spending more time through the middle gives us some leg speed through there with Sharp and Langdon providing repeat endurance run. Kossie, Trac rotating through with Oliver (hopefully fitter and focused), Viney and Rivers it should give us greater depth through the middle which is much needed. Having said that if North go tall I can’t see Draper getting past the Crows and don’t see Carlton not taking O’Sullivan if he’s there. 1. Lalor/Langford 2. Tauru??? 3. O’Sullivan 4.Draper 5. Langford/Lalor At this point I would expect Richmond to take Smith, leaving Smilie and Reid for the Saints. They need midfield depth and I see them taking Smilie Either way we get a really good midfielder IMO with 5 and expect it will be one of Lalor, Langford or Smilie

Farewell Adam Tomlinson
Thank you Adam for your service and all the best on and off field in the future

Why no key forward?
He does but an average defender can nullify a great forward when delivery is regularly on top of his head
-
Welcome to Demonland: Pick 9
I see Bo as a flight risk so I would pass on him
-
Why no key forward?
It’s all about the ball movement, as Chaser said Carey at his peak would struggle in our F50
-
Why no key forward?
This is my thoughts too along with no key forwards being available. Jeffo has improved through the season although my basis on that is from minimal viewing of the VFL from afar and some track watchers who talk sense. Kentfield is one I back based on coaching him and against him. I know his drive and desire and believe given a clean run at it he will do whatever it takes to seize the opportunity. Has a lot of natural hardness in him. Beyond all of the above speed on the ball from D50 turnover and quicker ball movement overall will allow for greater separation and more dangerous F50 entries

Wade Derksen
That’s a kiss of death within itself
