I was sad to see him go and thought we had made a mistake. We lost Melksham, Salem, and Lumumba to suspension and injury. Garland has proved Stevethemanjordan correct and Dunn has mysteriously fallen completely out of favour after a good season last year. Yet we still managed to uncover Hunt and Wagner. Plus White is waiting in the wings. There is no doubt it was the right desision to move him on.

Last week they fielded this defence Lever Hartigan Brown Laird Talia Cheney Talia is in All Australian form. Laird has been great from his limited games, he will provide the run off half back. I would love to have Lever in our side. Shame we missed out on him. Hartigan is no slouch. Not sure about Brown. Brodie Smith is on the bench and will mix in with the defence.

The whole article is aimed as a light joke. However, it does raise the subject: Should we trade JKH? He has another year to run on his contract, but he will be behind Garrett, Kent, BenKen and probably Harmes too. Let alone the other guys we can play at half forward like Petracca, Bradshaw, Vdb. He really will be a surplus and would slot well into Carlton's rebuild. Would it be better for him? I don't think we would get much for him. Third rounder for a straight swap. The Pedo/Dawes argument continues. If Dawes could ever regain his best form (we havent seen it at the demons yet) then he would easily be in our best 22. I dont think he ever will regain that form. I would love us to find a genuine 3rd Tall/Ruck and delist both Pedo and Dawes.

I just cant believe the government wasted so much money on those telegraph poles and wires! Its a white elephant I tell you!
