  1. Either that or we've achieved nothing noteworthy.
  2. http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=_DZ3_obMXwU&desktop_uri=%2Fwatch%3Fv%3D_DZ3_obMXwU#
  3. I wouldn't be too worried if it didn't happen this year. End of next year maybe? Roos stays for 3 full years and still manages a 2 year handover period.
  4. Mahoney's reconfirmation that pick 2 is on the table tells me that our efforts of attracting any decent FA's is SFA. Furthermore, our abilty to trade with other clubs on a 'needs basis' is limited due to our ordinary list. As much as it pains me to say it, Sylvia is a must keep if we're at this point already. Chapman will add something if he comes across but he's into his 30's now and struggled with injury this year. Other FA's that have not had the success like Chapman will be looking for a club challenging for a top 4 spot, not a cellar dwellar. We' are ugly and nobody wants to dance with us. Ed: Daniel Cross will be a great inclusion and I hope we have him convinced.
  5. Relax. Buddy will end up at the Dee's.
  6. Not sure GWS will give up Boyd if as rumoured Doggies offer pick 4 to GWS for Patton
  7. Did you mention once that you went to school with Clark?
  8. This and the very good chance that we become more competitive and actually begin to win games, thereby creating that winning culture we so badly lack. Catch 22.
  9. If Ross Lyon was not Freo's coach I would agree. Lyon even stated that the Swans were sitting ducks last weekend so I'm sure he's got the message across to the players that this game is going to vastly different and much, much harder.
  10. I'm born and raised Victorian so that probably explains it better than anything.
  11. If you lived in Perth and knew the history if how arrogant this club can be even when they're clearly sht, you would understand where DWA is coming from.
  12. I'm hoping for a similar result but in Hawthorns favour. It's almost nauseating in Perth at the moment if you're not a Freo supporter.
  13. Bluey next.
  14. Fremantle by 17 pts Fremantle swarmed over Sydney last weekend and I can't see it being any different against the Hawks. Even with their superior foot-skills, I can see the game being won by the Dockers scoring from pressure induced turnovers by the Hawks. Norm Smith - Nathan Fyfe
  15. I think the content of the article has been updated. I'm sure I read what UH mentioned earlier today when I first looked.
  16. November 21st on the Gold Coast.
  17. PMSL
  18. Perhaps that was a bit of an overstatement.
  19. No worries, Col. This year broke me into f*%#ing pieces!
  20. I reckon it was a close call on that, although it's not every day a player snags ten (although it was against GWS). 3 Votes - Danger booted 4 goals, 28 touches and 9 marks 2 Votes - Lynch 10 goals, 21 disposals and 11 marks 1 Vote - Thompson 0 goals, 32 disposals and 8 marks
  21. It's still sinking in for me too.
  22. When Roos looked doubtful many here jumped on to the Williams bandwagon if they weren't on it already. As good as Choco may have been/still is as a coach, he was never going to be able to bring about the exposure and attraction that Roos does. This coupled with his intelligence and massive network of class associates just crystalizes his appointment as being the absolute correct choice. In securing Roos, Jackson's 'doggedness' as Roos aptly put it, will remain as one of the more admirable pieces of work that's been done at the MFC for quite some time.
  23. If anything this just reminds me that we're not the only club to have stuffed up big at drafting.
  24. Great interview. As Ox said on several occasions, you can hear the excitement in Watts' voice.
  25. Roos see's him as a midfielder... http://www.melbournefc.com.au/news/2013-09-24/watts-set-for-midfield-role-in-2014
