  1. He's got plenty of experience but I reckon a change is needed. I reckon Burgs would appreciate a different interviewee as well.
  2. Maybe. The Dogs will keep him if [censored] deal is reached.
  3. Look, I don't think he's a game-changer like you do. I do know that long term success comes from really good organisational culture. If we trade for Stringer I'd be gobsmacked given the journey we're on. Essendon and Geelong can have him for the quick hit they're after but I don't reckon the Dogs will take anything low. I reckon Stringer will still be at the Dogs next year.
  4. The use of this or any other reputable forum gives clear instructions on how it can be used and what may happen if someone ventures into the realms of slander and such - take the time to read the pinned posts regards this. If I post anything specific - true or not - the mods would be all over it like a rash, I'd be banned and you'd miss my excellent contributions.
  5. Hahaha. Do you think I actually give a toss? Anyway, are you Jake?
  6. Sent.
  7. I've just been told a fairly good account of what's been happening at the kennel this year from a fella who is very good mates with a Dogs employee. All I'll say is that there's more than one problem child among that list and the players seem to 'get around' other players sisters and ex-partners quite a bit. That coupled with a certain group of players more concerned with other income streams than the one from the WB's has caused a helluva lot of issues and gives a good indication of why there appears to be a lack of communication between players and FD/club officials. The sort of stuff that needs to be kept under wraps let's say. Stringer has indeed been made a scapegoat - mainly because he was the worst at 'rebounding' from leisure activities and thereby failing to perform during games. Based on some of the finer details I listened to, I very much doubt the MFC will go looking at Jake STringer.
  8. I would like to think that if GWS wins the flag, most of the crowd vacates the G in disgust. I know I won't be watching any celebration from the oompa loompas.
  9. The obvious tips are Crows and Tigers. I can see Geelong pulling off an upset in Adelaide but not so much the Giants against Richmond. So, it'll be a Geelong vs GWS Granny.
  10. Roos does his best to whack the Giants from as many angles as possible in this article. Although veiled, it's obvious to me that there's some real resentment from Roos on the expansion club and how they came into being - that from a man who prides himself on leadership and being mindful to me smacks of a little bit of hypocrisy. I think Sheedy's dig about Roos being a single premiership coach (a few months ago) did sting quite a bit and Roos has gone some way to delivering some level of public defence in this regard. Still nice to read Roos talking about being a Melbourne supporter. Let's be frank about GWS
  11. You cannot elaborate on your own individual beliefs? Awesome.
  12. Shouldn't be blaming the Skipper or coaching staff for throwing Watts under a bus. The media do that by asking loaded questions all of the time regards Watts and Jones et al do the best they can in answering them. Options are: 1) Jack had a great year (untruth) 2) Jack a poor year (untruth) 3) The type of answer Jones gave (truth)
  13. Yeah, I'm tending to agree after watching the vision a couple of extra times. Closer to 130m I reckon.
  14. Was his barrel in Darwin ever accurately measured? Would It have travelled 65m?
  15. I can't believe you listen to that station, Ethan. I used to like you. You're dead to me now.
  16. Article in today's West rag is saying Carlton is looking likely for Kelly but don't reckon he'll last until their current pick 38 given they've no 2nd rounder. wouldnt mind betting the Eagles will look to get him after losing Mitchell and Priddis. Xavier Ellis who coaches Swans colts (for those that don't know) reckon he'll walk into any teams starting 18.
  17. Barry Hall is a much loved figure.
  18. I don't know how to link a Facebook post but Brad Hardie has suggested in/via the WCE supporters page that the Eagles offload Gaff to St Kilda and expect pick 7 or 8 and Blake Acres in return.
  19. Missing 10 games of footy doesn't help foster continuity. a change of technique may be all he needs but I agree that the oppo seemed to be getting better service when he returned from injury.
  20. I think it's obvious how good Gawn can be. In his first uninterrupted preseason he was AA and by some margin. Some of his tap work in that year to our mids was sublime and a distinct advantage. Even talk of trading him = FMD.
  21. From that era, I measure selfish against Kevin Bartlett.
  22. And they get paid very handsomely for such mind blowing insights.
  23. But they always seem to get the seemingly impossible trades done. I would not be surprised one bit if it all comes to pass. We should be setting the same lofty goals for our own list development now. I'm really hoping this is the year where we do a Geelong and bag some stars.
  24. Sydney have been rather paltry tonight. I dislike Geelong immensely.
