Not a weekly mission statement, but a kind of list of virtues or creeds that will last for the existence of our club. If we do have them, where is it, where can i see it, where can I read it. I doubt it even exists? Example. MFC Creed 1. The MCG is our home 2. MFC only play in the Red and Blue and the Grand Old Flag is our song 3. Alway play to win 4. Loyalty to Club Captains and Club Champions 5. Always put the club before the individual and so on. Carve these 'rules' in stone and mount it on the walls of the MCG. A monument to the MFC ideology. And dont give me, 'we will be the hardest team to play against', because it is not true.

Hey BB. A constitution which allows us to deliberately lose games need to be re-written. As for our close relationship with the MCC, you would think we could train for 2-3 hrs a week on our own home ground. maybe its you who has the blurry vision.

My vision: -Strengthen ties with mcc to an extent where we can use the mcg as our training base and guarantee our financial future and increase our influence over the afl. -Create an MFC creed or constitution. -Aggressively target a proven premiership coach for 2013 which will boost morale, membership and sponsorship. I would love to implement this vision, if I had the support.

If we had real leadership he would be sacked. Unfortunately, he will be given another year and our membership will dive by 5000, while Carlton snag malthouse or Roos and execute the final decisive move on a complete rebuild, add some more hype to the club and boost membership by 10,000. But we will stick with our current leadership. We will languish in 2013 and then the shot will really hit the fan. New president new board new coach. I just want to bring the change earlier and be done with it. I don't need this crap in 2013.

I wouldn't put your house on it. I would be staggered if we havnt approached some 'big boy coaches'. At board level, I am positive there would be discussions going on similar to what we are having here. And I am sure that someone on the board would have brought up the names of malthouse, Roos and maybe even choco. They have to, there is too much at stake not to at least explore the options. Seriously, neeld has made us go backwards. What happened to one of my favorite players tapscott. He can't even get a game. Wtf is going on?

In all honesty, I have selected about 50% of them the others were selected by my partner. Sometimes they go thru rough periods, ie divorce, cancer, depression, so I try to pick them up and utilize their strengths. I must keep them happy and motivated and performing. Something that neeld is clearly not doing.

Really, sacking club champions would make us a club devoid of decency and fundamental human values. It is enough to start a war within the club, for we did not learn our lesson from jnr Mac. This club definitely needs some written principals that should Not be breached. Simple things like; 'always play to win' 'respect for club champions' Both of which are lacking from tbhe MFC.

I question the integrity and moral judgement of supporters who would even consider sacking club champions like moloney Green and davey. your opinions should be regarded as poison. Clarksons first year in 2005 was much much better than neelds first year. Hawthorn beat essendon on 2 occasions, beat Melbourne, smashed Brisbane, beat Fremantle in Fremantle and beat the blues. Hawthorn in 2005 really lacked class players yet they only had 1 belting and the other losses were 'manageable'. Also, they came home with 2 wins in the last few games of the season. Clarksons first year as coach is far better than neeld. Neelds performance is nothing short of disgraceful. One of our proven performers in moloney can't even find his feet.

Did anyone see the hawks play? Hard, tough, aggressive and kinda freestyle. Mark neeld, slow, defensive, ineffective, structured. No wonder democracy dosnt work, the sheep are leading the shepherds. Excuses will only lead to your doom. If Neeld was really trying to develop us, why hasn't he played Gysberts and Cook. I can assure you, powerful men who pumped hundreds of thousands into the club, successful business men that sack excuse based employees, would be talking to key mbers of the board and demanding answers. I would be staggered if we have not had private crisis meetings behind closed doors. To accept this crap and look worse than ever is absolutely unjustifiable. Absolutely inexcusable, especially when our so called useless players have shown plenty of talent over the last few years. I am afraid that the excuse makers who prevail on this site may actual give strength to an assistant coach and his old game style. The Hawks looked brilliant.

No more gambling with our future. Neeld is not our man. Let's make a decisive move to secure our future.

Hey gonzo, ok, we can't change the past. However we can make serious decisions that influence the future. If we can snag malthouse, Roos, sheedy or choco for 2013, I think it would be irresponsible not to do so. Remember, we have already lost 5 years, and that results in losing thousands of young supporters who are entering primary school and being teased because they go for Melbourne.

If neeld is not replaced, there may be a challenge to the board. Neeld or Roos/ malthouse. You don't have to be a brain surgeon.
