  1. I am sorry if I believe we have a good team. Based on efforts over the last 2 years, I thought we should finish in the top 8 for 2012. We have one of the best backlines in the afl; Fb: rivers, garland, Nicholson Hb: grimes, frawley, watts The best clearance duo in the afl in jamar and moloney. Hard tough onballers like trengove, jone, jetta and mckenzie. Awesome young wingman in blease and Howe. A potent forward line in Clarke, Sylvia, pettered, davey, green and Jurrah. We were a team that knew how to attack but needed more dicipline and structure when we didn't have the ball. Also we lacked a defensive game plan that could stop 'run-ons'. When neeld was selected, he immediately said the players were not good enough. At that point, he killed the team. The man lacks emotional and spiritual intelligence, which Bailey had plenty of. What the club has done is gone from one extreme to another. What we did was gamble on an untried assistant when we had experienced proven coaches sitting in the stands. In 2012, we have only beaten gws and a lethargic essendon (who would have smashed us if they kicked straight). We have regularly lost contested possession, our players look slower, less explosive, actually it seems that instead of implementing a defensive structure, we have developed a negative mindset. Neeld has turned us into an uncompetive, negative, stupid and boring team that consistently gets smashed. I find it hard to see any positives in his coaching. Actually, I think he should be sacked just like Rohde at the Bulldogs. He is a dud!
  2. Tell that to west coast who were decimated with injury. How about Adelaide who have gone from rags to riches. While we have Petered, Morton, Gysberts, bennell and tynan at Casey, I wouldn't say that injuries are our problem. Our problem is that neeld can't get the best out of his team.
  3. 2 years ago, many informed commentators were saying we had the best young list in the land. Now, apparently we have the worst. Neeld has destroyed us. Can only hardnut see this? I hope our board members are seriously asking question.
  4. A good coach would have taken our positive attacking attributes and incorporated some solid defensive attributes. What neeld has done is akin to chemotherapy. He killed everything off, the good and the bad, so he could implement his own style. At this point of time, his strategy is failing miserably. I have seen enough to realize he will not be coaching next year. I think only the most compassionate of hearts will support him. He tried and failed. No excuses. Let's get a premiership coach or at least a premiership player.
  5. We are the only club going backwards, And neeld is relatively pleased with the progress. Dear god! If I were president, I would be on the phone to malthouse, Roos, Mathews and even choco to see who is interested.
  6. I can't believe what I'm hearing, firstly from neeld declaring he is relatively pleased with the game, but more astonished with demonland posters who accept this crap. Never have I witnessed a coach destroy a team as quick as neeld has done to our boys in 2012. Yet, he is pleased. And most of you brain dead followers swallow the bait hook line and sinker. Neeld is a terrible coach who is destroying most of our players. Never have I felt this kind of dissapointment about the club and it's supporters. Most of you sound like you are born losers. Wake up. Neeld is not our man. We are a laughing stock. There is only 1 solution. Get a proven successful premiership coach, that has the brains and spiritual strength to unite the club and win games of footy. We need to get malthouse or Roos before Carlton does. This is the worst year of footy I have ever seen.
  7. Just boring, unispring, crap. Malthouse is available. Get him!
  8. Fb- tapscott, McDonald, moloney Hb- Nicholson, frawley, watts C- blease, grimes, Howe Hf- Sylvia, garland, trengove Ff- davey, Martin, rivers fol- jamar, jones, mckenzie Int- Magner, Dunn, j.McDonald, bate In- Martin, tapscott Out- seller, clarke Don't get too keen on seller, he is not good enough.
  9. Opposed to McDonald? Syliva, frawley, watts trengove are fairly quick. Moloney is no slouch
  10. Neeld is responsible for the following; our slow decision making Our lack of contested possessions Our constant second guessing Our poor ruck structures Our poor skills Allowing Players such as tapscott, trengove, moloney, jamar, Sylvia, davey and green to perform well below their potential. Turning us into a reactive, negative and mentally slow team. What should be done; Play our underperforming 'guns' in the backline Fb: rivers frawley Sylvia Hb: trengove watts moloney Get a new midfield happening with grimes, jones and mckenzie playing well, add tapscott, Howe, Nicholson and couch for some new vigor. Start thinking about tough one on one defensive structures. Allow midfielders too express their offensive game and get in the right positions to get the Ruck clearances. Drop seller and Morton and Brian royal. Play blease and bennell on the wing for raw speed. We desperately need a crumbing forward pocket, so get davey to do what he was designed to do. We have lost 10 games and won 1. In my eyes, neeld is responsible for our predicament.
  11. Fine, keep him, but leave him in Casey until he irons out all the chinks in his game. His turnovers cost us a critical moments. Fundamentally he is soft. Scared of shadows. No one will want him even if we decided to trade him, he is not in our best 22 and that says heaps.
  12. RangeRover, Please don't comment on my posts, I want nothing to do with you. I hope your money keeps your warm at night. Please skip my posts. you make me sick.
  13. Your joking dk72. At least in previous years we won games and at times played wonderful football. The club was united, and everyone was optimistic. Now, you must look very hard to find positives. Back to G.Lyon On tripleM, last night, he admitted he was wrong to believe that sheedy was 'done' after his efc sacking in 2007. I know hindsight is a wonderful thing, but Sheedy was our biggest mistake. And sacking captain Mac. I think g.Lyon regrets his decision to get involved, and now is trying to maintain a dignified stance, although big cracks are starting to emerge in his demeanor. He gives me the impression that he has already conceded defeat. IMO. Carlton is a big game for us, I believe the clubs future direction hinges on this game. Carlton's team on paper is no better than ours. A disgraceful loss will almost bury neeld, while a win would turn the tide for our season and put the heat on ratten. Its a big big game this Sunday, and I think Carlton are ripe for a plucking. Carn the demons.
  14. Or have we used him because he is a media personality? How about the other players? Why not get other informed and knowledgeable players who are still football active to come together and agree on a coach, ex players like; Viney Schwarz Lovett Rhode Lovell Grinter Barrassi for example. Why does Lyon always have to solve our problems. Maybe he is not up to it.
  15. Bailey didn't work. Neeld is not looking much better. ps. What is a troll?
  16. Has Garry Lyon's off-field input made the club better or worse off?
