And the trip on Hunt.....And the Punch in the guts of Vince...A number of incorrect disposals by Norf not payed in front of our goals. It wasn't just the lop sided ones PAID. It was also the ones that weren't paid. Definitely influenced the result.

It was a day he should have stood tall and contributed ....somehow....but didn't. Has been flying under the radar far too often this year. I would hate to see this lethargy in a finals campaign if we were to ever get there. A bit like many in the rest of the team, some individuals excluded.

Still happy to just plod along and win an occasional big game when we are under-dogs and be happy about it it seems. And that's about it guys. We don't have the will or the mental application for a sustainable 4 quarter effort for more than a week or two at the most and we rarely ever win matches we are expected to win. Demons my arse. They just lack the will to win mentally on a regular basis. Especially when things get tight on the scoreboard or we are clear favorites. Always too much left to too few and going into our shells at the start of matches. You wont win many games of footy playing that way nor will we win many with so many hangers on and also ran players that can't get the basics right, can't finish and often don't see any of the footy for sustained periods of time. This includes some of our so called leaders in the leadership group and our more experienced players.

Lewis pretty average today also....[censored] weak effort Demons....losing the match in the first quarter then trying to make a game of it after. So predictable when a win was in the offing and going in as favorites. Had a chance for finals and blew it

Sometimes Clarry just over does those larey hand balls...could have run around and kicked forward which is what was needed

As long as you have Weids and Oscar playing together in this team you will always struggle IMO. You can cover one player missing at times against ordinary opponents but not 2

Worst most biased umpiring i've ever seen. Umpire walking off happily smiling and chating to Norf players. I would be happy to forfeit this game in protest and not play the last quarter in protest. Discusting

I would rather have a nippy small like Ben Ken or a medium tall around there like Harmes who can at least get to the contest when ball hits ground and put some tackling or perceived pressure on inside 50. We are a man down with Weids

This competition is not legitimate. The AFL obviously want preferred outcomes on the scoreboard. So many free kicks not payed or completely ignored. Hannan that's your goal what a mature bit of play son!! Coach will be replaying that one!!

Very predictable BIASED umpiring is costing this match

They have no energy on half their handballs and we often take too long to assess before kicking allowing opponents to easily pick us off. Many of our clearance handballs are also too short to a player already covered by an opponent allowing them to tackle us out of the contest too easily. We play too slow, and look for too many short options by hand and foot as a first choice. Our decision making and ball movement is pedestrian and needs speeding up and we need to look outside the immediate contest more often for clearance hand balls and the next kick up the field. Too reactionary, too slow to make decisions and playing the game too short. Brings other teams into the game too easily.

If we don't have the worst starting record and worst record at winning close ones in the AFL i would be very surprised

They also throw the ball more often and get away with it

Couldn't believe the news on the airwaves this morning. Wishing Jesse a speedy recovery and a long healthy life. Got it early apparantly which is promising. Certainly puts anything footy into perspective given his last few weeks.
